I miss my pug she passed about 2 years ago she was the sweetest little thing when i had a bad day at work whenever i got home i got all kinds of snuggles cherish everyday you have these perfect little potatoe babys
Awww, sorry for your loss. I'm a Pug Rescue volunteer, maybe you could find a rescue in your area and adopt one, or foster one, or just go to the meet& greet events and buy some pug merch to help pay the vet bills. You could get your pug fix in a number of ways. There are so many needing to be rescued... 💕
That is his fridge. Go out and buy another one. Too cute. Personality plus. I am actually a chow chow lover but have now fallen for this cute breed of silly dogs.
when they do things like this, they know full well what theyre doing. you likely needed to feed him, walk him, something along those lines that he saw as being priority over you getting food from the fridge and sitting down and ignoring him. i found my pugs were super pre-emptive like this, it was great to witness and learn from 😂😂
Pilot is adorable and your other pug as well.❤ I used to have two as well, but they both passed away of old age. I miss them every day! Pugs are the most gentle and affectionate creatures on earth! Cherish them! Their lives are short.
What a sweetie - my former neighbors had a sweet elderly Pug named Ouija. He was black with a white face. He couldn't go down the (steep) outdoor stairs so the lady would carry him like a football. He loved to be petted for as long as you could stay. Loved that dog.
Any time I tell people I absolutely adore pugs (mind you, never owned one) I only get visceral responses. “OH, THOSE POOR MISERABLE DOGS. CANT HARDLY BREATHE.” Although I agree, it’s sad they have health struggles they should not have, that doesn’t mean these creatures don’t deserve love and should receive cold shoulder into extinction. We opened the pandora’s pug box and we can’t close it, so we might as well enjoy it while we can and give these poor little buggers all the love and laughs and fun we can. I would love to have my own smooshy sweet little pug some day. So precious and sweet.
i mean i cant lie it’s a valid reason. i imagine that if there were a specific species of human that was 100% guaranteed to be born with breathing and spinal problems people would probably not want to pass those genes on.
That's a pug for you. Someone could break into your house and the pug would be like either, "Eh," and go back to sleep or continue chewing on a toy, or, "Hello, strange human, I want pets and a treat." Yet, when it comes to the refrigerator and food, it's a whole different story. They suddenly turn into a ferocious PugZilla and will bite your ankle to shreds before allowing you to the food. 😂😂
We have a Westie that does this sort of thing. She plants her fat old self in front of the cabinet with the trash can in it. She also stops halfway through walking back inside so we can't close the door. She's 17 and enjoying her golden years planting her huge self wherever she pleases. Still love her though.
Lil brat actually parked his lil pug butt in front of the fridge and wouldn't move!! hahahahahahaa But isn't that counterproductive to his goals tho??? LOL What a cutie. I will never not love pugs!!!
Be careful not to let it get fat; pugs are prone to obesity and it will shorten its life and cause pain in joints, breathing difficulties, etc. Cute as they are, don't let them con you into thinking you didn't feed them enough. Here's a poem I wrote: Ode To A Pug I'll say it again Though I've said it before They only look sad... So you'll feed them MORE! hahahhaa Yep, gotta keep him/her healthy, no people junk food, limit the treats. Green beans (no salt) are a good thing to use either as treats or to supplement meals without adding a lot of calories or sugar (carrots are ok but have more sugar.) Pugs like QUANTITY so green beans help w/that. No fatty foods like bacon, fatty beef, hotdogs. Fat can mess w/the pancreas and if your dog develops pancreatitis it can be hard to get it under control; treatment will cost you $$$ and he'll be in pain. Fat is BAD for dogs! Good luck. 💙💙
That poor pug. They already have so many inherent health problems. Please consider trying to get him on a diet, I'm sure he loves treats but I'm sure he wants to be with you as long as possible, and you with him.
Dogs dont speak human languge. If you train them they respond to certain key words because of the way it sounds. You can even use similiar words and they will do it just because it sounds the same. So you can tell him all day that he is staying in your way. Would be the same if you would tell a tree on the road to move because its on your way. And then saying good boy makes it even worse. But of course you guys will just pick them up because its just a small dog and training takes more effort.
