As a new subscriber and someone who watched a lot of your videos recently, hope to see you back whenever you can make the time! Respect your profession a lot and completely understand the hours needed to be a great pilot, especially post-pandemic.
Great to see you back in the skies again, Emilie! Happy flying! PS: This video definitely gave me a quick glance into the life of a regional pilot. Thanks for making it.
What a great story Emilie! You're such a fascinating person, you have an amazing life and career. Thank you for sharing your journeys and experiences with the world. It's such a joy to watch your videos!
RU-vid is not what it used to be up to a few years ago. revenue has dropped significant for most creators. What was interesting as a part time hobby or 'job' and some side income, has now become a full time job, in order to get the same level of succes.
@@TAG-1984Thx for explanation, I had heard revenue had dropped , maybe a short update for the 160K still subscribed would be appreciated as you know viewers start to view a channel for content then usually stay as they get to know the personality of the creator. Kinda like being ghosted.
I would think the pilot was the one person who *CAN'T* miss their flight. I was on a flight once and the pilot came on the PA as we taxied, ""Ladies and gentleman, welcome aboard Whatever Airlines flight 17. Today's flight is a historic first. This will be the first purely automated flight to carry passengers where no human pilot is aboard. "That's right, I am not a human being, I am, in fact, a computer. Please don't worry I have been tested and perfectly programed. I assure you nothing can go wrong- go wrong- go wrong...."
I attend embry-riddle university in the fall to study aviation and eventually become a pilot. Your videos are so encouraging to me and makes me that more excited about my my future endeavors
Thank you so much for this video! I have been highly considering taking up a career as a pilot and this video was very inspiring. Please make more like this! Very much enjoyed this!
Of course, wouldn't you do the same?? I would pick a stable real job instead of vlogging or being an influencer and not having to depend on donations or advertising.
Hi Emilie. You really should feel proud of yourself. Great Women you are with lots of experiences and adventures. I love to watch them. Take care. ksss
Really enjoyed watching this Vlog video! That short flight to Victoria was fascinating. There were so many turns before reaching the destination. I guess flying in a straight line is just too easy :-) Hopefully the outlook for the industry can only improve as travel restrictions are finally getting lifted. Keep well!
Took you 2 years to come to that conclusion? Most people have an actual life outside of RU-vid and uploading videos is way down on the priority list . . .
Aw, I miss flying the mighty Q. But… I don’t miss being away from home so much and some of the other BS of airline life. The people are (mostly) awesome though. PM vs PF (pilot monitoring vs pilot flying): for us at least, PM actually worked way harder thatn PF. Haha! It’s also interesting, watching some of your other videos, to see the similarities yet differences in your ops of the Q (checklists, flows, etc.) Great stuff! Keep it coming!
Wow i just discovered you on YT a few days ago. Loved the videos only to find out you dont post anymore?? Ugh! Ha Oh well, your videos were really good. I hope you're fulfilling all your dreams. Stay safe and maybe you'll check in one day. ✌️
No uploads any more ... happy to read "Just super busy flying again" ... and looking forward to see some day new videos about MSFS-hints for better flying and about the life as a pilot

Day 3 and 4 sounded pretty hard. How does it compare to the DRC flights? I really wish they had G3000's in these planes... Dash 8's are designed from the late 80's so flight decks are all terribly obsolete. I think technologically the industry overall is just way behind anyways.
Great video! I prefer flying at night myself. Especially VFR, so much easier to spot traffic lol. Two of my friends just go their callbacks as FO at your airline so I'm hoping that's a sign you'll get the 4th stripe back soon!
Cool to see you at cottonwood island park! Forests for the World (on Cranbrook Hill) is also very nice. As is the walk along the nechako river from the hatchery to Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park. You will see the winery across the river. If you land early enough in the day, take a drive out to Ancient Forest 1 hour east of PG. It's a breathtaking inland temperate rainforest. Great to see you flying again!
Hello! I love your videos🫶🏻 I have a question: having a tattoo is a problem? Because I want to be a pilot but I have a lot of tattoos and I don’t know if it is a problem 😅
FlyJSim Dash 8 Q400 Q4xp out for simulator. Would love to see you give it a test run, or flight, if you have free time. Love the vids. Keep up the good work! :)
I loved watching your flying and MS simulator videos Emilie, it looks like an exciting career. I wish you still had time for stimulator videos as I'm buying the program and a joystick for my desktop PC. When gas goes down I may just spring for flying lessons. Photography is my first love (not cheap) and I do spend a lot of time on Photoshop editing tutorials. Learning the MS simulator will add some variety to my life. Next month I'm photographing an air show in So CA which is always fun and educational.
Wow! You flew right over Tsawwassen, B.C. My mother grew up there. I’ve been to Victoria a couple of times, only we took the ferries. Greater Vancouver, B.C. is such beautiful country. Glad you’re back, Pilot Emilie! 🛫
It would be great to have you back and make some more videos.Especially when you tried out MSFS that was fun.Hope to see you on here someday again with some awesome videos.Good luck on you’re career and keep going!!
Hi Emilie. Retired military pilot here. Love flying and love living the commercial pilot experience through your videos. Keep ‘me coming! Safe flying 😊
Hey Pilot Emilie & Ninja!! SO AWESOME to see you guys again!! Just saw your updated content! Great to have more instruction from you. Thank you SO much!! SO FUNNY, just wrapping up my work day in Minnesota right now with my Lab McKenzie at my desk when I pulled up your information. My Pup (Kenzie) totally recognized your voice, prop noise and wanted to go flying with you on your video! It was cool to see. Not sure if it was your picture or our Midwest/ Canadian accent (Minnesotan too) that she recognized. Nevertheless, all the best and thanks for all that you provide. JF
Congratulations on getting back into the air! I can't tell for sure but, on the flight from Vancouver to Victoria, it looks like you passed into US airspace for a short time and flew near San Juan Island, Orcas Island, etc. I live about 80 miles south of the border as the crow flies, and flying out over the San Juan Islands is one of my favorite things to do. On a nice day, it's simply beautiful. And lots of neat airports out on the islands, like Friday Harbor airport, and Eastsound airport on Orcas Island.
