Hey, do you need some weight in the tail of the plane? I wann to use the GP76 in the same plane and I am not sure if there´s a problem with the weight of the engine and the CG. Greetings from Germany :-)

Not that I am aware of but the Pilot RC manual is reasonably well detailed, and the C/G points are marked on the model itself... It should be just a case of relocating the batteries inside the canopy area to balance the weight ... On my Pilot RC Laser 100cc the batts are located right next to the fuel tank So the C/G is Bang on

Nice plane........I'm in the process of designing and building my own 64inche wingspan stunt plane from scratch not bought ....currently I'm working on the front wing design I want something that nobody can buy yet just as high quality I can't wait until I finally get my final design then I can start actually making everything then install the electronics ect

Hi, just got this plane and fitted a eme70cc which weighs the same as the GP76, mini throttle servo and all other servos are McGregor 20kg. The plane way too nose heavy even if I more the 2 rx batteries next to the rudder servo plate and add 200 grams to the tail. I'm using string through the 2 cg holes in the fuselage with wings on and lifting from above, not sure why its so tail heavy as I assumed it was designed for this size engine? Any ideas?

@@Bravo303 thanks for the quick reply that's appreciated, I will send more details after work. I flew the plane yesterday on a maiden and it was ok and smooth on landings, it didn't want to knife edge spin at all (flattened out all the time) so I checked the cg and found it was way more nose heavy than I thought. I could put tail weight but don't want extra Mass on the tail which would not help.

Hi Brendan, Recieved your email, im quite burried in work and also a Build project of my own, but I will discuss this CoG issue with a number of pilots i know who eitrher have or have owned that model, hopefully some useful information will come to light

I wouldn’t be happy with someone who does knife edge passes 10 ft from me with a 92” plane while I’m flying and can’t see what’s coming. I’d be pissed and would tell you for sure.

He did call the low pas.. and there is nothing wrong with that manoeuvre
