This just convinced me of buying a Pilot RC Laser. Passion for the job, no one seems to be under pressure to get things done quickly. Feels like they really care, proud of what they are doing. Just great. Thank you for the tour!
@@jamesmarsh1307 - It would be impressive to see a factory in the US full of Americans busily working to create cheap ARF model airplanes for other Americans' recreational desires.
@@my_dear_friend_ would be interesting if someone could produce them in the US at 600 to 1000 seems like maybe enough margin? Covering is the killer part
This amazing. People tend to forget that humans actually have to build these planes somewhere. The level of expertise here is amazing! This is just awesome!
Hi Tony. I bought my first Rc Pilot Yak 54 107" in 2011 for IMAC and 3D Had it until 2019 and sold it. I have never had better plane and will always fly Pilot -RC. And the Dle i got from you, ran all these years with no problems at all, not even a motor stop. Thx for awesome planes Tony and Co. Nicolas Denmark.
Hey Tony and Co. Very nice factory and good workers. Still remember my first Yak 54 107" i bought from you in 2011, it lasted around 10 years. First 3-4 years IMAC and then a renovation of engine and new servos for 3D setup. Sold it last summer and after a few weeks it was done. But 10 years and a few small repairs and still flying good , that's good value and a fantastic plane /factory. Thx Max.
Yes! A beautifull tour into your Factory! A love to see the people working in the planes, and here can see the lot of work have to do before we receive the RTF models😄😄👏👏 thanks for share us this great film from an excellent and historic planes builder like Pilot 😎✌️
@@krotchlickmeugh627 The “real ready to fly/almost ready to fly” is because 10-20 years ago+ you got a bunch of pieces balsa and YOU had to glue it together. When this came out it was amazing because now, it is “almost ready to fly since you just have to add the components and then put it together. None of this foam RTF crap.
can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video - love of RC - love of China and the people & missing Chinese factories - so nice to see craft & hand made things.
For me it's like a kid in a candy store. YES I have a PILOT RC 78" Extra DLE35RA and it's very good build quallity, and it flies realy nice! The second one to come for this summer is going to be PILOT-RC EXTRA 330LX 92" carbon reinforced, and a DLE85.
WOW that facility is amazing! The work pace seems at a pleasant level revealing great attention to detail and quality. Thankfully, it's not a frantic high-production-driven get-it-out-the-door-as-fast-as-possible sweatbox factory that I thought it might be. 👍👍
Wow, really amazing to watch. Great quality ... I wish some scale kits were available with these kind of construction as well. Something like a 1/4 scale T34 Mentor? =)
Very talented workforce producing amazingly beautiful products. Although factory does look a bit care-worn and its distressing to see them handling glass and carbon fiber and resin without gloves. Better health and safety needed.
Amazing organisation, just think of all the buying in of raw materials to ensure a smooth production line, there must be a healthy demand for these kind of models but we do not see many in the UK ? good workers too.
I'm an avid R/C builder and I design my own air craft, boat and car, very much the same technics but much simpler instru- ment, that I am using, I LOVE it
My anxiety was going up just watching them cover those plans, and seeing the line up awaiting them... I guess I have no excuse now. I need to start covering all those bare bones airframes I have in the basement...
Over many years I've assembled a lot of ARFs. Scratch built a lot of models too. Crashed nearly all of them eventually. I am assembling my first PilotRC model right now, and I have to say I'm very impressed with the general quality. But having watched the sheer misery of the factory where it was built I will now always feel guilty about owning it.
What sheer misery are you talking about? They seem very content and well taken care of, the pace is swift but not rushed. Have you been to many Chinese / Asian and even some European factories??
Mr. Farrow, you must be watching a different video to the rest of us or is your mind simply equating a factory in the Far East with an automatic "sweatshop" label? A calm and peaceful workplace producing high-quality products in an unrushed manner does not equate to misery or hardship. Very silly and unnecessary comment.
I wish you guys could up the scale enough, to produce some exportable experimental manned airplanes! That, would really be cool! A lot of homebuilt kits here in the states, are over 30k! My wood and fabric Mini-Max Eros kit, is $6,500!
Im glad this provides a living for these people in China, but its also shameful that hobbiest are not willing to put in the time to build there own models anymore. So its a bitter sweet thing.
First time seeing in RC pilot factory, Complete 3D print and laser cutting, Wow,amazing!! How to make buying from the factory by personel person?for hobby only. Please" Like👍👍👍
I laugh when the politicians say “MAGA”. Yeah right I see the factory in a location in USA. “We want our rights back, we need more insurance and better working conditions”. It would close like in 6 months. These people work because they follow instructions and get paid, period.
Every time I hear a derrogetory claim, "It's made in China", I tell them, good products come from quality control. Not from geography. This videos proves that.
I wonder why is so strange in our factory or company culture not to request employees to be in uniform, to me it gives a sense of professionalism. I've watched videos of other types of factories like Ducati, Volkswagen in Germany, Porsche etc. and technicians, assemblers, engineers all wearing their company uniforms it really looks neat and organized.
You want to have up tight un-happy, low production, i like the smell of my own farts over paid ceo. Have at it. But a casual unstressed work environment produces the most quality product. Period. Just because the germans force their workers to look like douchebags doesnt mean the product is the best. In fact german cars are shit.
a woman named marylin monroe norma gean.i cant spell it.was discovered in a r.c. model plane factory called the denny plane.reginold denny..hobbies in hollywood.1940 to 1970 he made modles or drone for tha military....used as targets..great hobby shop.
It looks like they do really good work! but there are a lot of safety issues in that factory that would, excuse the pun never fly in the in the U.S. or a lot of other places in the world for that matter.
