And what about the Pathetic Ugly 12 - 14 hours of flight schedule ??? And who becomes a Captain within 2 years ?? INCORRECT analysis on salary comparison. Most of my friends in Engineering line have reached 20-25lpa within first 8-10 years of workex(age around 30). Now if the salary keeps growing at a snail pace of 10% their lifetime earnings comes around 42 crores. And with an investment of 4-8 lacs. Here I am not even counting the exceptional candidates who work with startups and FANG companies, they are easily earning 60-80 lpa at age of 30. Their lifetime earnings would be way higher than the pilot. I don’t mean to discourage Pilot aspirants, but one should be clear on what they want to do Mon-Fri. PS: I am a management consultant, i used to love travelling-business class, staying in 5star hotels across the globe, but at age of 33, my preferences have changed to less travel and more family time

I did n't watch the whole of the video. However, there are risks, such as a pilot making an error and loosing the right to fly (it can happen, with lack of sleep jet lag). Medical issues. Airlines do go bust, with climate change there will be newer aircraft, which may obsolete skills....

Where do so many pilots get jobs. There are pilots that don't get a job for 5 to 10 years also.. the industry itself is so much uncertain too.. so many companies being bankrupt . So all calculations of getting promoted to a captain and then showing the profits etc is useless and misleading isn't it? Can you show the pilots when they got trained and actually got fixed job?

If we get recruited after 2 to 3 years . what happened if we have taken education loan .like when will we have to pay loan after our pilot training or after getting our job .if I choose cpp. Means my father had to pay about 24 to 36 installment.then i don't think CPP is safe for me

How conveniently The Captain of the SHIP has forgotten that Dad's money already got tAXE'd and Captains 32 CR will get taxed.With 30% tax one would need to earn 2.2Cr to be able to get back 24Cr (Post Tax).The 2.2 Cr gross would have to be spent within a span of 2 years , and 32 Cr would be earned over a period of 30~~35 . One might better off putting the money in an FD!!
