As an update to the update, I can say that we now have the keys to the new house, decorating like mad and moving over a bit at a time. I have no idea how we would have coped with a one day move! I would just like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who have regularly followed me over the years and especially during this time of change. Once settled I do hope to get back into a more normal routine, In the meantime, I would like to wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Great to see you in the air again Tim. Of the many things I watch on TV… I’m always happy to see that you’ve posted something and your videos do cheer me up! 👏👏👏 Hope you all have a Merry Christmas👌👍
Seasons greetings Tim and John. Too much Devon wind and rain in October so our runway is waterlogged and I am grounded. Great to see you up in that high pressure air! Glad the move is underway and hope to see some more EH adventures in 2023. Malcolm
Wonderful to see Britains weather this time of year. Being in northern Indiana, here in the states, we are getting hammered with blowing snow. My plane won’t be getting in the air very soon. Wishing you and John and the family a very Merry Christmas. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11)
I did not fly during the cold spell as we had a lot of fog or I was working 😞 There has been a lot of low wind on the ground and stronger wind at hight. You channel has grown much fastewr than my one epecially since you hit the 1K subs, I think it is down to content and the RU-vid recommendations. I wish you, John and your families a Very Happy Christmas and lets hope for a fun flying New Year / 2023
Thanks for taking time out of your stressful situation to get this video out for us. I was really looking forward to seeing you bright & breezy on a Friday morning but my last working say of the year got in the way. Needless to say it was worth the wait and it was great to see you two aloft.. I’d like to wish you, your family & all the Naylands crew a very Merry Christmas and may the New Year be full of flying adventures that hopefully you’ll have time to share.. PS. Congratulations on attaining 2,500 followers. PPS. I’ve just done a quick review and think that this year I have managed to visit 4 air museums, of which 2 were new to me, and I was accompanied by my lovely wife on those occasions who has no intereste in aircraft whatsoever 😟 Sadly no time in the air, apart from our trip to Ibiza. Maybe 2023 will give me the chance to start training again.
Looks like it was nice if cold weather . My very first flight, many moons ago, was in a winch launched open cockpit T21 glider on a freezing February morning at Detmold Germany. Brrrrrr! I can thus appreciate the conditions of your flight. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Regards, Jim in NI
Hope you had a good Christmas Tim, and of course all the very best for 2023. Picking up the vlog late as we’ve been up in the alps for a bit. Both Angus and do enjoy your content when it pops in. All the best in your new home Neil and Angus
It was very nice to see you and John in the air again and looking well. I hope neither of you get this cold which is doing the rounds. Those frosty hedge shadows are quite distinct. I appreciate your gratitude for us regulars. Congratulations on your 2.5K subs. I'm yet to get to 100 but then again, I do have a rather dull random hobby channel with very little kerb appeal. When one video gets 300+ views and another struggles to gets 10, I just laugh because it is so silly. Well, 2022 is best forgotten in my household as we end with lurgi and nursing my mother in the front room. Onwards to 2023! A Happy & Merry Christmas to you, John and each of your families & sets of friends! A Happy New Year in your new house too.
Our very best wishes to you and your family . We hope the house move is relatively smooth sailing , or should that be flying . A very merry Christmas and a healthy and safe 2023 , and a very big thank you for your much appreciated episodes . Cheers , David and Mazzy .
Ya gotta love Winter Flying as you say so smooth and the engine get nice big Gobs of cool ar to turn into heat. My Jodel in winter depending how cool it was ya used to have to have carb Heat on after start it would stay out till take off. Mind you we live next to a Mountain. I even got up to 13,000 feet one day and was still climbing 50ft at that stage not bat bad for the ole RR 100hp. I had a really good heater in mine......Keep at it now. a belated Christmas greeting.😁😎
Lucky man getting that flight in before the New Year John! Not sure if I'm going to get a couple of dry days next week or not. Great to see you (and John) flying your beautiful Jodel so a Christmas treat for us viewers I'm sure. Merry Christmas and see you in 2023 eh?
Hi Tim, another great vlog, good to hear your progresing with the move, have Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year, hope John is nearer to getting his aircraft sorted, looking forward to seeing more videos 🎄.
That was certainly a good subzero flight Tim. I did manage to go up last week in a Motor Glider for the first time, to see the snow. Do have a merry Christmas Sir and looking forward to meeting you sometime in the new year.
Great video as always. Was going to ask about the plane search for john, but you answered it. John obviously misses JB, but let's hope life throws him a good ball and he lands a great new steed. I finally start my tail wheel rating in jan (this weeks flight was cancelled due to WX) so heres to 2023 for meeting up and enjoying the skies. All the best, Tim
I hope you had a good Christmas, Tim (and John!). Thanks for recording this, nice to get up over Blighty again, especially on a lovely day like that. I actually hadn't heard of Johns situation, so I guess I have some videos to catchup on. Happy new year, and good luck with the move!
Thank you Tim for all the hours of flying pleasure you have brought over 2022 and looking forward to more in 2023. Enjoy a wonderful joyous Christmas with you family.
If John is looking for a new aircraft Tim I recommend looking at AT Aviation. They have a mix of aircraft on sale. Have Showrooms At Lee on Solent which is the main one 👍
Hi Tim and happy Christmas to you and your family. I think there has been a shift in the RU-vid push and views. I agree it's not all about the views but there has been a definite drop off. Has John found a replacement aircraft yet?
