...If anybody's interested I made a downtempo version of this I think it really works well ❤ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CBXAQv6s6Q4.html
@@benengel4270 shit sorry my bad, here it is!...lmk what you think, I still prefer this version after all this time lol... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CBXAQv6s6Q4.html
I find it insane that the alternate version of this sounds like a weird half-sunken memory on an old computer, but this one sounds like the instrumental of a Tears for Fears B Side
I really like the contrast between this and the old version of "Thanks"; this being much more upbeat and somewhat aloof, still with a driving and intense beat, while the other version is very blissful, nostalgic and even a bit melancholic. Excellent.
So. Tomorrow is my birthday, and now is time to listen to this again. I'm doing this since I was 19 y.o. (when I discovered pilotred to myself) to this day. This is a really, REALLY good song, it somehow resonates with my soul on so many layers. It's happy, it is sad, it is nostalgic, it is nearly a perfect work of a men. And I love it so much. Pilotredsun helped me to get through the heavy part of my life. So Thank you pilotredsun. Thank you Lonesome James. And thank you, anon.
If that's the case, I'd love to hear all the insights you've gathered so far about how all the details and characteristics in these songs correlate with all the nuances and interactions in the stories, just like the Celeste OST :D
@@screwit5579-archive btw thanks for responding to my almost 2 year old comment, i have changed a bit since then, but i still like my good ol' pilot red sun
