My dad has been a mortician for almost 50 years and I've seen many funerals. Unfortunately this is the era we in now. Familys still grieve but its the others that make it a circus atmosphere. Was I shocked to see the deceadant sitting in a car painted and upholstered in the colors of his favorite football team. And wearing the same colors with shades on, the car door was opened and draped in jewel's (security) was near. He was posed with one foot on the gas pedal, the other leg bent at the knee with his arm laying on that knee. I heard he was laid in a casket shaped like a caddy at the funeral.

He is still a creation of the Most High. Good or evil; we are not the final judge. Hearts are broken due to his demise. All we that judge should instead be praying for the grace and mercy that is freely given to us daily. Well, if you have noticed, not much has changed over the centuries. Many years ago, people used to have ceremonies over the dead to show them favorable to the gods, , sacrifice animals, and bury animals and treasures with the dead so that the dead will have them to use in the after life. Today, sans the animal sacrifice, we still have ceremonies to show our dead more favorable to god, we dress them up in ways we feel will be pleasing to them on the other side, and we throw in trinkets to retain some form of ties with them. Yet with all this, when their eyes shut,,, none of that is going to matter to the deceased! His life is going to be judged up to the dark moment! How we decorate, cry over, shout around and how many flowers we throw on the casket will not affect god's judgement on the deceased! Sadly, we cannot VOTE someone in or out! God's Judgement and his alone, is Righteous!
