The name Pinarella dates back to the mid-eighteenth century and means "small pine forest". In the southern part of the municipality of Cervia, recently formed beaches extended, in an uninhabited area and in that stretch of coast, pines and other trees were planted.
With over 25 hectares of woodland, you can treat yourself to an incredible experience with cheerful walks in the scent of pine. If you watch it from the satellite, you'll immediately understand why it's called Pinarella.
Right along the beach, between the fine sand and the town, there is a century-old pine forest, about 3 km long. Pinarella is located just south of the centre of Cervia and since the second after the war it has increasingly taken the shape of a tourist resort appreciated for various reasons:
