Thanks for another excellent video. I used to play Pinball Fantasies along with Pinball Dreams all the time. My favourite stages were Stones N Bones from Fantasies and Nightmare from Pinball Dreams. Keep up the great work and thanks for the putting in the effort to make us these great videos.

Always great memories seeing these, but of later years Williams Pinball Classics on 360 has to be my all time favourite pinball sim, it is faultless!

AFAIK and remember, the PC shareware came with Stones n Bones instead. Such amazing game! Would output sound thru the PC Speaker without breaking a drop of sweat.

Love that game, it came on a diskette, part of a lot that I got when I bought my Amiga 600, my first "retro" computer and to this day it remains one of my favourites together with Lemmings. Great video, as always :)

Great video! I have never spent a great amount of time with either Pinball Fantasies or Dreams, but I should revisit them. However I am a huge fan Devil's Crush on the TG16. Fab pinball game.

My (Amiga) favorites: 1. Slamtilt 2. Pinball Illusions 3. Pinball Fantasies 4. Pinball Dreams Btw, if you are looking for a steal: pick up True Pinball for the PS1. For a few bucks you have the 2D/3D rendition of Pinball Illusions. Released even by Ocean.

Great video once again! I personally prefer pinball dreams because of the many hours I've played it with my dad. We had constant high score battles on the Steel Wheels table so I don't have to explain why this game is filled with nostalgia for me.

Sony PSP version has nice option to rotate the screen and play the game by holding PSP sideways... Great video!

If you're a fan of pinball games, then you've got to check out Pinball Dreams....on the Amstrad CPC! Some absolute genius has managed to port the game to the Amstrad and it's absolutely mind blowing!

Boas Pedro... ja nem me lembrava que Digital tinha feito o Battlefield e o fantastico Rallisport Challenge,é sempre fixe ver por onde os desenvolvedores começaram e os seus early games,cm sabes tb gosto bastante de jogos de Pinball,apesar de nao so saber jogar la muito bem,mas pra passar uns bons minutos de vez enquando,é daqueles plug and play em qualquer altura sem compromissos,mais um bom video e Grande Trabalho ;) Grande Abraço Pedro!

My favorite pinball ever is Pinball Dreams. Can't wait for the CPC release. For the AGA machines is Slam Tilt but if I had to choose one, PDreams would be my choice.

I totaly agree with you. I think the Pinball Dreams opening music is perhaps one of the best musical scores I've ever heard on the Amiga. If I ever want to show off Amigas sound capabilities, i show them Pinball Dreams. I always laugh when people talk about that stupid space pinball on windows back in the day, and we had Dreams and Fantasies which was far superior :)

If you want these two games on the go, check out Pinball Challenge Deluxe on Game Boy Advance. It's as close to the Amiga version you can get on another system. All right tables from Dreams and Fantasies, the physics and tunes!

Beware though that the Pinball Gold Pack is purely the DOS versions, so you won't be getting that extra Amiga quality ;)

Não me recordo.... Mas, pensando bem, joguei muito pouco a versão do Amiga. No meu caso, Pinball Dreams 1 e 2 eram grandes vícios, mas no PC. O Pinball Dreams 2 é, aliás, exclusivo PC. Boa semana, Daniel! Abraço!

my favourite pinball on Amiga was Slamtilt. But i like PF and PI too. I dont recognize that Pinball Illusions remix music from 6:00 is that any official remix from Olof ? I only have that from Immortal music series, and it sound quite different

@@itsaPIXELthing I prefer it on DOS for the increased VGA colours and better (IMO) AdLib & SoundBlaster music. I've even tried it on my IBM Model 286 with ESS sound card. It ran like complete ass though lol. The Amiga 500/600's custom chips really did help it against lower clocked 286/386 machines!!

Was there a technical reason why the Amiga version had the dot matrix on top of the screen while the DOS vesrion had it on the bottom?

@@itsaPIXELthing wow you go above and beyond when it comes to questions. :D But thanks anyways! Back in the days I saw Pinball Fantasies featured in a weekly TV programme about computing. They showed the Amiga version and was like _wow, this is cool._ Then, I happened to play with the PC DOS version. the PC port was lightning fast even on a 286 and it emulated the 4-channel Amiga .MOD music system even on the PC speaker... I never thought my PC can handle that and honestly I preferred the bottom dot matrix layout to the that of the Amiga's top positioning. That time, a module player on a 286 was a demanding task for a 16-bit hardware/software, let alone adding a fully featured pinball! :) Another awsome work of DI was Motorhead. Cool visuals, well balanced arcade racing mechanics and those soundtracks... Every PC game should see these old games at leadt once to get a glimpse of the atmosphere of games from that era!

Pinball Dreams and Fantasies set the early standards but are primative next to SlamTilt. Pinball Illusions is good too but Liquid Dezign raised the bar well beyond those games. Obsession is worth a play as well but more a step backwards with no multiball feature and the ball physics are awful in Pinball Mania.

Sadly Pinball Mania was pure wank. Developed by Spidersoft.. It was such a big disapointment for me. Have you ever played Slam Tilt for the A1200? Was released in 95 so most people will not know this game. For me it is as good if not a touch even bettet then Fantasies.

I didn't have an A1200 back then, but played a ton of Slam Tilt over at a friend's house :) Loved it! It's on my personal Top 10! Don't know if you've watched that video, released a couple of years ago. Cheers! Have a great weekend!
