Not having Fury of the Furries is a SIN I say, but as it's there in shining glory at 29:38 I'll let you off, great list of games, Amiga had so many great times
Thanks 😉 by the way, I have a fully dedicated history video on Fury of the Furries 😉 check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6Qmd95HUMn8.htmlsi=E2Ewsm2KvGvmiKut
Atari 2600 > Then parents bought me the Amiga 500 and was hooked. We upgraded to the 2000 (I don't know anyone who had this system) before moving to PC's. Loved the Amiga, I had a box of over 200 games, complete with original packaging, just disappear during a house move about 15 years ago.
I think its safe to say i was a huge nerd as a kid since i've played all of these games. Also where the hell is Xenon 2 megablast and Giana sisters on this list? 😀
Good old times, I miss my Amiga 500+ with HD, printer and memory expansion. 😭 Does anyone know of any website or forum that has roms and the best emulator?
Yep! O A500 mini, uma espécie de mini consola onde podemos jogar jogos do Amiga e não só ;) Vê o seguinte vídeo que lancei sobre o tema: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hPA8KTdzXoQ.html
Does anyone know how to disable the temporary input status banner that will show at the bottom of Flint 4KP devices? It lasts for 5 seconds and it's annoying. For my model, this is absolutely coming from the capture device as the source.
Ah The Amiga. Blood Money and Speedball 2 were my go to games back then. But also this video reminded me of Rainbow Islands. That was great too! The beauty of this machine was how many games you could copy . Also played James Pond alot . A wonderful time!
I just finished the 14 stages in a week. What a challenge. As you said before : not getting lost is already a victory. Now I plan to play again the full dakar, but the 14 stages straight (4200+ km, about 10 hours of gaming). What do you think of the idea ? Will my brain explode ?
@@itsaPIXELthing As you've probably noticed, the Dakar 18 kilometers are not "real". Given the time and the stage lenghts, you've raced at an average speed of about 400km/h (ha ha ha...). To obtain the "real" lenght, I think we should devide it by 4. So the whole dakar is about 1000km, which is doable in 1 day. I'll tell you what (if I survive ;) )
greetings. how specifically did you wire in that power button from the at/atx adapter there, the green and black wires from it? i do see them running all the way up by the power button there, but i still also see the power button original wires connected to the board. how exactly did you rig that up in there to make the power button itself work as intended with the psu? normally when using the adapters and adding a switch to those wires, it has to be always on to work or always off to not work, and makes the original switch not function, so i would like to know how you went about it. thanks.
@@itsaPIXELthing can you tell me by chance what the green and black wires go to up by the power button there? is there another piece up in there, or are those wires direct connected to the switch wires? and thank you very much.
Here's the converter kit I bought from amigakit.com to use a standard PSU: www.amigakit.com/converter-cable-with-switch-p-306.html?aksid=63b527dblctejl158ekoebvli9¤cy=GBP&aksid=63b527dblctejl158ekoebvli9 Hope that you can clear your doubts by looking at the zoomed in picture of the item ;)
@@itsaPIXELthing yes, i have adapters already here, and know how to make them, just not that identical one with the specific switch was all. thank you for that link though, it's picture tells me what i need to know. most of these adapters come without that switch on the end and just two wires instead. i didn't know if you did some different thing with them or not or if you fully replaced the original switch outright. i see you essentially fully replaced the switch entirely with the adapter's switch there, which means i should in theory be able to connect to the original one with the bare wires and make it work. otherwise with the switchless adapters, you can still convert an atx unit to at to fit the system, it's just that power button that was custom there. thanks again very much.
In the context of the games that defined the Amiga, you forgot, my friend, about one very important game that allowed three players to play at the same time, and of course we are talking about Hired Guns.
