Wow, nice one. I just started playing this game, definitely not a pinball expert. I really love the humor of this table. But when I play it seems like I can't stop losing balls right down the middle. Do you have any advice in general on Pinball FX3 or this table in particular? Thanks!
It's a lot about learning which shots are dangerous, and avoiding those. For example shooting the captive ball from the left tends to return it straight down the middle. When you do get a ball straight down the middle, think about where it came from, and how it got there. and try not to do the same thing again. It takes a lot of practice to become really good at pinball, which sounds like work,, but the trick here is that you play for fun, so it's never boring practice. ;) And remember, you can always beat your own high scores. @@lordsqueak I appreciate it! Yeah that shot on the captive ball is one I seem to make a lot. I suppose I underestimated how much control over the ball's trajectory is really possible. Pinball from a casual perspective can seem really random, but it's not nearly as much as it seems. I'll keep practicing!
You have good ball control...I see a lot of people playing pinball like it's pong...just constantly vollying the ball like they can't slow down or stop lol
I only played the real thing once, a long time ago. It kicked my butt. ;) Time spent ,, tricky one. . . . I played it on TPA, So I am already familiar with it, that helps a lot. But all the williams tables are harder on fx3, so there is a few hours of learning how to deal with that. I got about 1000 hours on TPA, and on fx2, but only 600 hours on fx3 .. something like that.
Very nice game man!! I have a question though...i use the version for mac that is inside zen pinball 2 and i don't understand why your version gives double the points for every jackpot...for example when i get the first jackpot i'm awarded with only 20 millions and not 40 like you.....why?????
In Pinball FX3 , there is a skill system in singleplayer, which lets you use different "skills" and "perks" . One of those is higher scoring multiball. There is also an active skill for score doubling (which you have to manually use at the right time) which can also double any score. All in all, Picking the right bonuses, and using them at the right time can boost the jackpots quite a lot. Tournaments can be setup to allow the use of all or some or none of the "skills". Depending on how its setup. There is also an classic mode with separate leaderboards, no powers or skills, which is more like the classic FX2 play.
