Nah I disagree with Sonic Spinball sucks. The 8 bit version sucks tho. Sonic Pinball Party story kinda sucks Amy and Tails are at there worst in that game.

It’s funny because pinball is SA1 and Mania was actually pretty fun but then I remember Heroes and it makes me never wanna play pinball in a sonic game ever again

Are you aware that Sonic 1 on the Genesis came out before the SMS version. Seems a little odd to consider the bonus stages of SMS Sonic to be the first intro to pinball mechanics in the series.
Yeah I'm aware, thats why I talked about the genesis version first. I only said that I considered it one of the first since they added more traditional pinball mechanics such as the flippers. I probably didn't explain it as clearly as I would like, but I feel like the original created the building blocks of pinball for the series and personally felt that the bonus stages was one of the first time where they dedicated an entire level of traditional pinball. But that's just my personal opinion lol

Ngl, I really enjoyed the pinball special stage thing in Sonic Mania Plus, it's one of those extremely simple and classic games that you can play all day and never get bored, it's probably because of the fun physics. I also have a different take on Mirage Saloon, it's my favourite zone in Mania, I really enjoyed the Tornado part, I like the theme of the level like when you run on that train or get launched from a giant gun, the worm boss was extremely fun to fight against, the music is amazing, and I really like the boss of act 2 because I really enjoyed playing Sonic the Fighters as a kid and I liked seeing those old characters in action again after all those years.
I can see the appeal, I'm just not very good at pinball as you can see lol. I've never really been a fan of tornado levels in general but admittedly Mania's the best one yet. I'm more into Studiopolis but I love the fan service in Mirage Saloon!
