Coming from someone who had every console from the Nintendo-ps3 until I got married and had kids…your channels have slowly become my favorites to watch and hits me in the feelz every time! 36 year old and OG power rangers fan for life!!
Rick I don't know if youll see this, but you've made that store better than I ever thought it could be. As someone whose been shopping there since I was 12 years old, what you've done with it in the past year is the absolute best it's ever been. Your dedication to the store and keeping interesting things in there is very much appreciated. -Hunter T.
Congratulations on coming full circle! You’ve put in the time to get out there, be known, and hustle. I’ve always heard good stories of fans meeting Walter and was pumped af for ya!
been amazing to see your growth from the start on the og channel and inside look into just the store here, and all the collabs with other youtubers, keep kicking ass! :)
@@retroricksgamepoint Watching gamechasers since season 1 and pat the nes punk, scootsquatch etc since the beginning of all that - watch you, phoenix, and pixel game squad grow have been nice, cuz it seemed for awhile there was a vacuum, Now we just have the new wave :)
I live in Ireland and I would have loved to meet the Black Ranger, The OG....... All the rangers came here back in the 90's to turn on the Xmas tree in Belfast and i missed it.
Amazing Rick, like living the dream seriously. Glad we get to be a part of it on RU-vid. Can almost imagine myself in your shoes what fun that'd be. Wow! Congrats again on such a cool opportunity with such a killer store!
Rick, i've been watching both of your channels for a while now, i really appreciate your contribution and impact in the retro gaming community. The Retro scene here in the philippines is not as big as what you have there, I'm hoping to visit your store someday.
I was up from Florida and made a special trip to check out the store. Totally worth it. The Wizard display is cool, and I was lucky that Rick was there the day I went. Stop by if you’re ever in the Little Rock area!
Ope, we made the mention in the video 😆 honestly the most Pittsburgh thing ever, being in the middle of AR and meeting someone that lives 20 minutes from you. Thanks again for the great visit, Rick! We look forward to coming to visit again!
Man, the MMPR Actors all seem like they're such nice people. I'm sure after 30yrs they get bored of hearing the same jokes, the same trivia, the same merchandise, and to me at least, it'd be really hard to keep up the positive attitude... not that I would be nasty or anything, but I wouldn't be able to act so genuine after so many years of the same song and dance, and they all really do put on a happy face for the fans because they know we really love them. I'd love to meet them all someday, RIP JDF... he was the shining beacon of the Power Ranger Fandom, but to all the remaining Rangers blessing us with their time and efforts to meet and greet fans, you guys rock, thank you so much for the wonderful childhood memories and your continued kindness toward the fandom! :)
This is how you boost your stores brand every few months get some guests in them when it’s time for your own convention you already have a handbook with names and numbers to get the ball rolling
I have been watching way before you had the store, I’m from northwest Arkansas and I just want to say that is a really nice store. Rick has done so good takin a game store and turning into a special store
I loved this seeing how happy he is seeing and meeting all his fans and he’s a character 😂 loved the energy maybe we can get a vlog on that dinner with the ranger
Congratulations on the amazing growth and success. I'm all the way in Ohio but I'd love to visit your store one day lol. Next week I get to meet Austin St. John at a Galaxycon event. So excited!
The last Ranger I've met in person was JDF. He signed my 1994 Green Ranger water bottle after he made a Tik Tok of himself drinking out of it. He was such an amazing, friendly human being, R.I.P.
Ya know, also, Walter has a helluva good point. All us 90s kids had mountains of pogs and slammers......but how did we even get them!? I dont remember ever openeing packs either! haha
Oh! This was good. Kid from the 90s right here too. Ungh, the Green Ranger (my fav) what he did, put a really sour note. From what I was brought up, ungh…he’s written off from me. But! What a great guy you had there!! I’m happy for you guys.
RETRO RICK!!! Love your videos, man, BLACK RANGER!! LET'S GO! Also enjoy your dinner with Walter lol, can't wait to see more of your amazing stories and videos, Take Care!🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮
Hey Rick! Love the office, but I think you’re missing something - I think you should paint the black pipe in your office green and make it look like a Mario warp pipe!!
I met all four original male power rangers and honestly Walter was the most down to earth. I expected to mainly talk power rangers, but we ended up just talking about ordinary things in life.
Tom Arnold did our local convention a couple of years ago. I went over to take his picture to give to the event staff and ask him how he enjoyed things here and his response was to say the least not so nice. He basically complained about why they brought him here in the first place, said that they were better and more important people than him to come here. He was very ungrateful. Maybe he was having a bad week or something but she shouldn't have taken it out on the gas at the convention.
I was so disappointed when I went to comic-con in Niagara falls a few years back and had the pleasure to meet Worf (Michael Dorn) and Data (Brent Spiner) from Star Trek TNG... they were both ignorant, rude and clearly did not want to be there. I was so incredibly disappointed. Great example for the saying "never meet your childhood heroes". Glad to hear Walter is a genuine person.
Rick, just wanted to thank you for your videos. Because of them my daughters and I go hunting every weekend and each has started their own retro collections. Hope to make it to your store one day.
Walter is amazing I've met him like 3 times or so now. I got a copy of the somewhat recent mmpr #1 blank cover variant signed by all the mmpr rangers aside from adam. I just met and got rockeys autograph Saturday. (I can't get trini for obvious reasons and yes I got tommy before his passing 😢)
For the McDonalds corner you should get one of those Gamcube display cases they had in McDonalds for the kids to play with lol. It was like 4 Gamecubes in a circle with 4 controllers. I remember cutting school to go play it 😂😂
Absolutely love this video so so much! I love love love my original mighty morphin power rangers and sad I couldn’t be there HOWEVER beyond words seeing the kindness everywhere in this video and the love put into a signing from Retro Rick with the glove and Walter just being so nice 😊 I’m just so happy, genuinely happy you got this on a video for us fans to enjoy ❤️ Wanted to say thank you for the content and this is one of the coolest things I’ve seen 🥹
Rick, you gotta stop giving your 10-year old self heart attacks!! 😉 But seriously, happy for you, and I’m glad Walter was kind and down-to-earth!! Been to some conventions, and, unfortunately, not all celebs are like that….
