I was the lead groundsman for a tree removal service for 4 yrs. and he was the best I'd ever seen. This crew did an excellent job, no doubt. All you Monday morning quarter backs should give this a shot before you criticize. If you can do better?! Then you can talk. Just my opinion.
I did a little tree removal with GA Power many years ago. I here to tell you men you did a great job. It was unfortunate that the water line was there, but, things happen sometimes that you have no control over. You worked great as a team. Also, the man in the hooks ,my hat us of to him. Never had to climb that high. We didn't have the climbing ropes either. Again, great ,safe job!! 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
im an arborist. this was a job well done. i think most people dont realise how dangerous tree work is. this lad done an excellent job, knew what he was doing and bossed it.
I just now became a subscriber. Boy let me tell u. U'll had me worried 1/2 to death. Thank our good LORD JESUS u'r all safe. A very dangerous job. Loved n enjoyed the ride. U guys got some heavy-duty guts. I'm a 73 year old lady n can tell u guys I was very anxious 😟😰🙃 to see the final results. Oooh. Gbu again n again.. keep u safe. My respects for u young ones. Love from TEXAS.
You are right. But, I would have liked more if they showed the removal of the very top. I was waiting for that. I am retired from 40 years of Landscape contracting. This climber is good.
I felled trees for 37 years..the northern interior of british columbia then settled in a small northern ontario town on the north shore of lake superior and cut pulp and believe me I was in shape and considered myself good! What this guys does is awesome and just as dangerous plus you can make a mistake in the bush but you cannot make a mistake here for obvious reasons. I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO YOU SIR...JOB WELL DONE!!
This is solid work done on a complicated job by a good crew and a ballsy climber. It's a shame there's so many critics out there that in reality have probably never done a tree job close to this one. Think before you comment. I love what I do and I would loved to have been a part of this project.
My husband and I watched a lot of your video and your workers did an EXCELLENT job! Do NOT listen to the critics! Truly great work on a very challenging task!
That was an insult to us warriors! How dare you compare them to a Soldier. That was an incredibly stupid comment. Ask any Veteran if I am wrong!!! When they have to dodge knives, bullets, RPG's, mines, etcetera while trimming a tree, let me know.
Watching this in Australia it's 4.00 am. My hearts in my mouth watching the climber, much respect! I love watching people who know what they're doing. Stay safe.
WOW... People on here are extremely critical of this crew considering the complexity of this job. I don't fall trees for a living but I would imagine there are 10,001 ways things can go side-ways on a job like this. I thought this crew did a hell of a job and was EXTREMELY professional and safe! Falling a tree of this size (with one house 3 feet from the tree and the other 10 feet from it) seems as difficult as it gets. For a tick over $2,000 you got an absolute bargain. (In my opinion) I would hire these boys any day of the week! Well done! I hope you tipped them well.
+derrik tribble He only paid $2,000 for that tree removal?! I must have missed that part. I do this for a living and I would have charged $3500 at the least even with the owner keeping the wood (which is a very important part when pricing out a job like this).
The owner keeping the wood makes it cost more? I have a maple I need to have cut down. I don't want the wood but it is great burning wood. I imagine there are two cords here.
I have increased respect for these men who do this work. When I watched that man climb up that very tall absolutely straight pine tree, I couldn’t have been more surprised if someone had of given me a winning lottery ticket. I grew up in Washington state and I’ve seen logging trucks all of my life but I had no idea how complex tree felling is. Thank you very much for such a very interesting and informative TopBuzz video. Take care, Kate, theflutterby🦋, from Seattle!🌲
Thank you so much for making the video. I am quadriplegic and it's very enjoyable for me to watch the removal of the tree. I watch at night because I can't sleep. This is so interesting. I admire the men doing the work also. Thank all of you so much.
These guys are amazing, especially the topper. I was a lineman in the Air Force as well as for the phone company for about 8 years, The highest I was up with gaffs was 45 feet and that was spooky. Takes guts to go as high as that guy in the video.
45 feet is enough. You can only get so dead. Once you believe that your gear works, the fear component goes down a bunch. I learned this on a mountaineering trip a thousand feet of air. Still nervous, but not really more so than at 30 feet.
watched allmost the whole thing. its like a movie , plot twists , logs might be falling on houses and what not. there was tension in the air before the final cut was made. silence and then....boom... perfect finish. considering how big this tree was the water pipe is a small loss. that guy on the top ..job well done 👏he deserves an oscar.
I'd hire this crew any day. Good work. I wish you filmed that last "leafy" top he cut off, before he started on the main trunk. Bad ass climber guy, I used to be a power company lineman, on the hooks & all. He made it look so effortless.
This man is very talented at his job, and his crew knows exactly what to do, their lives depend on one another, great job guys,, I watched my brothers 5 of them do this for years,, it was nerve racking, plus my sister who was the oldest had to b right in there with the action,, glad I was little or I'd of been in there helping them too!!! No I don't think so!!!
Wonderful viewing - how awesome was the dropping of the huge pine tree without crane or cherry picker - and within a few metres of the homes - all down to the expertise of the first class team. ...Bravo and cheers.
Great job, that last big piece was kinda scary. You are a true professional in my books. You put it exactly were you wanted it ,with no damage to the surrounding area, beautiful. Thanks for sharing. M. OOOpps spoke to soon.
@@GeldorfMcleod The house could predate the tree. I had 18 large pines planted by the previous owner that grew to be 60-70 about feet tall over the course of 50 years. Large trees are scary and dangerous when they are anywhere near a house. The developer could also have left the tree to save on the cost of removal.
I've had two good top climbers work for me here in the U.K. and when young I could out work the two groundsmen by myself but the climber in this is THE MAN! We once cut a standing trunk at 30" round at 60ft and it was all two of us could do to wedge for small rollers and push 6" to 8" slabs off a raked cut - this guy was doing 18" to 24" by himself!! MIGHTY! We all have our hard hats off to you. Hope you didn't get too much strife about the water main.
She was a beautiful grand old lady.It is so good to see the way you are handling her as she makes her exit .She has homed many creatures and given shelter as well and I for one respect the way you are taking her down.Thank you guys
This is a good show of professionalism. For that huge tree to be that close to a house and not even a broken window. Good job guys! Kudos to the guy on top.
O my Lord ! How brave man the pine tree-cutter is !! He has no fear & fright. He ascended on the top of a high long pine tree and cut all the branches of the thee successfully. The brave man is praiseworthy no doubt. Many thanks to him for his braveness & hard works. The brave man cur the huge pine tree without crane or any heavy machine. Although this work is very risky, probably its payment is not less amount. Many thanks for uploading this fearful video for us.
Beautiful old tree - sad it had to go, but far too close to the houses and the roots are doing lots of damage to underground reticulation. Excellent job guys... I admire such professionalism in tackling a very dangerous job like this.
That pine tree reminds me of Our Government , over the years it got to big to deal with , until it became a danger to the home and the owner had the Opportunity to take it down ! We have that opportunity every election ! And America truly needs to get rid of the Political Figures that have used their Offices to make themselves rich and Powerful and like this tree they need to be removed ! Before they ruin America like this tree has the potential to ruin several homes !
Truly an amazing crew, all working together. Top man has incredible savey and much intelligence to take down safely for all concern. Im totally impressed, Great job guys !!!
Nicely done. A hell of a lot of manual work, though. I would have a crane there in a heart beat. Looked like a perfect set up for one with maximum capacity and reach. You would have got some nice sawlogs out of it as well.
ЗдОрово! Ребята своё дело знают! Я из России, из Крыма и у нас к сожалению почти не осталось 30 метровых деревьев и ещё они не растут возле дома. Но видео посмотрел с интересом...
You guys did an awesome job on the second part the chipper sounds like a champ I have heard a lot of chippers that were exactly like that in the Vandemere BC 1000 I love it
Great video, abou t man doing a very dangerous and responsible job!! The guy up in the tree is a marksman and must have nerves of steel!!! My Respect guys!!!
Moçada seis tão de parabéns - que preparo - que técnica - sou operador de torno de madeira mais tirei o chapéu a voceis - muita coragem do podador que vai em cima
I watched this whole thing, and you know what ?? I loved it. What a hell of away to make a living.. I bet the water department charged $4000.00 to come out and fix that Main..Very hard working YOUNG men, you can't do that when your old.all you can do is point.See Ya
i cut trees east coast not on that scale but i got to tell you you can be the best of anything but just one awshit and you dont get paid a dime oh but you have insurance but that doesnt cover the customer not paying you for the damage it is a very risky job and yes i been there done that going home with a hundred bucks my cousin said hey they brought us lunch we better be putting shit in our pockets because they are not going to pay us shit i dropped a tree and it damaged a sidewalk that was inches thick ah ha lesson learned
i watched the whole job. and thats one hell of a tree man. he dropped that giant tree piece by piece right down between those two houses fantastic job wow just fantastic.
Great job, greets from Germany tree climber. It is top level for workers and Material. The rope, the Roll and Rigging System have lot of stressful. I hope you earn good Results with this excellent work. A big tree
Gentlemen you have my admiration of doing a good job and that gentleman with a chainsaw in the top of the tree is a virtuoso, an incredibly interesting show, thanks.
My neighbor's son was killed doing this. He worked for a tree company and was very good with this type of work. Sadly a tree he climbed was rotted at the base and his boss or he did not see it. The tree came down with him strapped to it. Nice young man, very sad day , we all miss Brian.
Condolences, I feel Your Pain. When the first 2 logs were looped off this tree the "wiggle" as the Narrator calls it had me wondering if the root structure in this one would hold up. RIP Brian.😢
Loved this. You can see they had a good safety plan. That is one mean chipper. The Video guy did fantastic but missed the topping of the tree. Oh well, it still was a great video. He zoomed in and out at times and showed everything. Great job do by everyone. Main thing is no one was hurt.
Thats really not that mean of a chipper. Don''t get me wrong, it will do a 12" diameter log so its not bad but a "mean" chipper will will take care of a 19" or even bigger log. LOL
Got to love the leaf blower noise in the background!!! You guy's make noise so can I! I worked in the woods of Maine also cut trees next to camps very close NICE work guys!!!
I worked for my uncle as a ground man many times when he took down bigger trees than the one in this video. Steady slow and safe is the name of the game. Fast is slow and slow is fast was the first thing he taught me and I asked him what it meant. He pulled off his shirt and I saw multiple scars from as he put it young dum and unwilling to listen to anyone one day older than him. His first job taking down a large weeping willow a large branch dumped him and the branch from near 80 feet, when he opened his eyes he was told don't move then saw the branch some 6 inches in diameter sticking out of the right side of his chest. The doctors were shocked when they removed the branch and found no major damage. He went home 5 days later and Monday was back to finish the job, he told me that he listened to older people that had been doing tree work and hired an old logger who had one leg removed from a falling accident who couldn't climb anymore but told him what to do and how to take down a tree without killing or hurting yourself or someone else. I had a few chips and bruises but never a major injury. I was 11 years old when I started as a groundman. I quit when I enlisted in the Army. The old logger was a spar high top man in Washington State and worked there as a logger for 27 years before he lost his leg. Was dropping a western cedar when it split vertically and threw him over 100 feet and broke his left leg in 9 places so the doc amputated it he didn't even know what happened until he woke up three days later in the hospital. His falling partner was killed when he was thrown into a large rock killing him instantly. The crew thought they lost both of them when it happened. The old logger is the reason my uncle lived to a ripe old age with only bumps and bruises after his first and last major tree accident. This crew in the video is doing it exactly as my uncle and me would take down a tree that size. All you guys out there saying he should be using a crane, instead of proclaiming your informed decision get off your ass and go work for a tree company or a logger and find out what life is about. It's not a video game guys. Real people get hurt and killed doing this every day. Stay safe out there guys.
Brilliant job you guys, I'm wondering what an operation like this would cost in the states, I live in the UK and it cost me $800 to remove a sapling compared to this monster.
This was the Most Intense Thing I have ever watched, thanks for posting it, Cutting Trees is a Science, if you do something wrong, this is your last day on the planet, my hat goes off to you guys, Cousin Figel
Very professional The climber did an exelent Job I worked in the Tree Care industry for 11 years I did Crane Removals too ONLY THE GUY WITH THE LOWERING DIVICE COULD HAVE MORE CONTROL WITH WRAPS IN THE LOWERING DIVICE OTHER THAN THAT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL
I like the log when it got smaller for about 12' as best in the tree. Great job over all..tough conditions, so close! Climber is awesome hope you pay him all it's worth!!!
I guess Im asking randomly but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Ben Prince thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
