Nice shave and review. Seems like a great razor for all to have. I haven't smelled this scent yet but I can guess it smells great since it's using the bay rum with pineapple added. Have a great weekend

Shave Brush Guru 🐐 - I've seen the others review it but I was looking forward to YOUR Athena review, as I expected yours was the most knowledgeable and thorough. I like the explanation of the blade gap comparison! Looking forward to the open comb review, others have said it's more mild and am interested in your analysis.

Interesting razor with minimum exposure or blade gap. From the reviews I seen on these razors they all been pretty positive. I got a a few samples of PAA including pineapple bay. I have a feeling it’ll be really great scent for summer. Enjoy your weekend!

Let me start by saying: thank you for your honest review. On the other hand, hmm perhaps I've been spoiled with your reviews, but in my opinion it lacked a bit on the actual review of the razor it self ( hopes it makes sense ). I believed it went a little too far out to the other stuff ( but hey that's just my honest 2 cents ( so please don't be angry ) Small question: please show us your boxes / storage again please. Hey Marcus, thanks, brother! You're correct. It wasn't just your imagination. The razor will have a "stand-alone" video all by itself, just like the brush will. In my opinion, I talked too much about the razor. In most reviews, I spend more time on the fragrance, but with the Athena, I wanted to discuss it a little more. Also, in the description is a link to seven other channels' reviews of it. But, today I'm kicking off my Razor Review Series. Episode 2 will be the Athena. I appreciate your honest comment! Seriously! My Hope is it'll make sense as I move forward with the Razor Series

Great Tobin! 24mm Pure Bliss knot on the way! The only problem now is I have to make a handle for it-lol! I've heard a ton of great things about the Lamda razor and now some more. Definitely an interesting design and it reminds me of the Eclipse a little, but far more efficient. Kind of crazy to have that much efficiency, but my Shield Stomper is super mild and efficient too. Well, I'll have to take another look at this scent as maybe I just have it wrong in my head. It wouldn't be the first time and probably not the last, but I'm more than willing to be wrong about something. I don't have a fragile ego and if something is really great, I'd like to know. Now I just have to figure out if Shannon has a soap up my alley-lol! Have a great one Brother!

Hey, Tobin. So on your recommendation of a few brushes with strong backbone, I ended up getting the Oumo EX ST-1. First of all, this backbone is crazy. Coming from a TNS "Chess Brush" it's stronger than I thought a brush backbone could even be. Haven't shaved with it yet, literally just arrived today. I chose the bulb, got a fan(written on the card they send) and it just says ST-1 so I'm not sure if I even actually have the extra dense version. Is there a way to tell? Lol. Is the difference between the two very noticeable? This is as dense as I could fathom so I imagine it's the extra dense they just didn't write it on the card. Anyways, thanks for helping me out. Looking forward to trying it and hopefully it splays a little easier when I get it wet and soapy.

Hey Jon, it's got to be the EX. The Regular splays more easily for sure. Which handle did you go with? It should get a little easier to splay after you've used it a handful of times

I wasn't sure exactly what shape would be my favorite but this one looked like a style that's used by tons of different brush makers(probably for a reason was my thinking) and appeared comfy for the grip. It is perfect. These are magical in bright light.

@@Tobins_throwbacks First shave with it is done. It splays fairly well when it's soapy on the face. Have to adjust everything I've learned about puck lathering since this holds so much more water. I thought I squeezed most of it out but being so dense you really can't squeeze the center water out. It was flying everywhere lol. Next go of it should be better.
