We heard this song on one of the Disney stations and I told my wife how much our girl loved it and that the singer was named Annette from the Mickey Mouse Club. Annette Funicello was pure class! She never got caught up by all the Hollywood hype and drama! The stars of today can take a lesson or two from her. So sad that she's no longer here. Rest in Peace Annette. I and the rest of the world miss you!

I've always loved this song. Brings back memories when I used to play the 45 rpm of this song over and over (probably wore it out) on my suitcase-like record player back in the 60s. Then I went on to enjoy Annette in all those beach party moves she made. Thanks so much for sharing it here.

In our teens my friend and I used to race motocross. Driving back from a race one time this song came on AM radio and we laughed hysterically. I love the song but it took me 10 or 15 years before I found out it was Annette. I thought the announcer send Paulette when the song ended and I never could find anyone by that name singing this song. That was decades before the internet came along and information was much harder to get. But now I have it stored on a playlist of fun songs
What a great talent she was. So pure . She was so popular. I wanted to be her back in the day. Copied her hair do and clothes. Saw all the beach movies a fashion times and still watch them today!!!!. What a great time to grow up. BUT I am so sad for what happened to her and her MS. So very sad. Why her. She couldnt have been any sweeter of a person. She died a horrible death. Annette was a Princess on the Micky Mouse Club when I was a very young kid and her song Tall Paul got me hooked on rock-n-roll back then. I guess rock-n-roll will never die as the great songs like this will live forever.
