Trump is not honest in many things that he says. I voted for him in the past, but I am very disgusted with how he handled Covid and his re-election. So, he is not getting my vote ever again.
To be fair, unless he wanted to be labeled as a nut and lose the election he did ok. Remember, it's only 4+ years now that people are being vindicated, at the time they were demonized.
Trump is vastly superior to the alternative. If it was Trump against Rand Paul, then yes, switch votes. But it's Trump against Biden. So hell no I'm not switching my vote.
Has he or does he lie? Yes. On these 3 points on this video, I lean yes on the first, the second is more of a disagreement of opinion, and the 3rd I lean no (it is a little tougher to know this). But in principle, calling a person a liar is similar to calling someone a racist, there are always many other explanations that could fit.
To me, I am a former Trump supporter, but I woke up and realized he's full-of-it on most topics. Here is how I see it. He is wrong, for sure, on what he's saying here. ANd, next, I think that he is lying most of the time, and I think that he KNOWS that he is lying. And, that's what worst of it all. I don't really think that he cares, because he's made it and has so much money that it doesn't matter to him. Yes, he wants America to do well, but he wants it to do well to secure his family's future and that he can keep making money, in perpetuity.

Very stupid to even think it's possible. Right now, the debt per person (not sure on number) but it's something like $135,000 for every person in America, even babies & older people. So, there is NO WAY to pay it off in any real meaningful way in nothing short of many, many, many years (like say 20 to 30 years) with much higher taxes. No other way. My only thought is that NASA captures an asteroid with platinum or some necessary, expensive metal and sales it to manufacturers. That would pay it off.
It would be impossible to pay back the debt in Trump's term, but if the US was to limit spending increases to 1/2 of any increases in revenue, eventually, the federal budget would be balanced and without cutting spending and if that policy continues, the debt could eventually be paid off albeit it'll take a very long time. It seems impossible because both parties increase spending faster than any increases in revenue. That's why raising taxes never seems to work. Got a $1 billion deficit? As an example, imagine a country that hikes up taxes and grows tax revenue by $2 billion but then raises spending by $3 billion. So now the deficit is $2 billion. That's how our federal government makes tax increases pointless when it comes to balancing the budget.
