This is stupid. They send a tax bill due to the address in question. It should show the property tax bill for that address was paid by your mortgage company. Very easy to check online if your mortgage company paid that bill to that address. Btw, as a sidenote to keeping yourself safe your credit should be locked by all 3 credit reporting agency's and also if you own your house you should have an alert placed on your title by the county. No one can buy sell or put a lien or do anything to that title without you in person releasing that lock. There's a much better story WFLA can do and that's did you know that anyone can just go online and change your mailing address to be forwarded to another address. NO ID NEEDED. My mailman knocked on my door and said your not moving are you? NO. he said someone changed your mailing address its being forwarded to an address in Miami. I take very good care of our mailman give him a big tip every Christmas because of things like this. he keeps a good eye on me. Anyone without any ID listed can just go online and have your mail forwarded to another address. There is no notice that was done you will never even know till you stop getting mail. I went down to the PO to bitch and there all like yeah we know its crazy its a shame!!!!!! WHAT???
