Other forms being Phugadi, ghagar, zhimma etc. This dance form is performed during the Mangalagaur festival in Maharashtra. Goddess Parvati is worshipped. This is Bollywood glamourized version of the dance form but actual dance form is quite different.

This Bajirao Mastani is a story of Hindu king (Bajirao, who fought 50 wars and never lost any one) who fell in divine love with a muslim princess(Deepika as Mastani) and marries her. But the society and his family opposes him for his marriage with Mastani. Finally his son born to his first wife Kashibai(played by Priyanka) put Mastani to jail when King went on a battle. After king won the battle, he got to know that his own son jailed her second mother(step mother). So he fell sick.... After some months King died and Mastani also died in jail after his lovely husband Bajirao(king). Plus this is a still from a movie about ancient Indian Kingdoms. At those times women used to dance for Kings and they used to be highly choreographed. Present India is nothing like that.

They should totally do Nagada Sang Dhol and Mohe Rang do Laal since they like Deepika (what's not to like, she's an actual goddess/queen)! Malhari is great since they mentioned they like the beats (it's a victory dance, so it has amazing beats). Gun gun guna is another Priyanka song, she's amazing in that (like everything else because she's just amazing all around). Titli has Deepika in it, it's a nice slower song.
