This channel has a dedicated description of the specifics, but to keep it simple. If Duck Hunt times “pinging” the can by pressing B on the same frame that the “ping” effect occurs on each hit of his smash attacks the hits will come out twice resulting in a massive damage boost. The timing is frame perfect though so not easy to do. They seemed to have removed it with this patch.
