I went to one of the concerts on this tour in May of 1994 at the old Foxboro Stadium in Massachusetts. I was in my early twenties, and I can honestly say it was the BEST concert I ever went to! I still have the ticket stub and concert t-shirt from it. It was a breezy May night that I'll remember forever.

I was there that Friday night May 20. College DJ up in New Hampshire whose station was promoting show tickets and we got 4 free station tickets for every busload we could fill, then I went up to Montreal for the show on Sunday. Two free shows. The single greatest event on earth I will ever attend in my life was this concert. David Gilmour is the greatest living musician.

This show was filmed in London at (Earl's Court), with a capacity of around 19,500 spectators. They presented 14 shows at Earl's Court, for a total of 273,474 spectators, or approximately 19,534 spectators per evening. Montreal was treated to 3 shows totaling 187,302 spectators, or approximately 62,434 spectators per evening. As an "older" Floyd fan, I'd say if you want to see the guys "back in the day" check out Pink Floyd "Echoes" (Part 1) live at Pompeii 1972 No Audience, No Lights, No Pyrotechnics and a Dave Gilmour with No Shirt 😂 If you want a more popular track, check out "Money" BUT avoid the official video as that's a cut down radio version. You should go for the album audio only version 😉

This is my all-time favourite song by far, especially the Pulse version. (I am a junkie, I listen to it every 2nd day). What I like about RU-vid is that you can log into "reactions". Up until now, yours has been one of the best.

This is an absolute monster classic, I have The Wall on vinyl along with pretty much everything Pink Floyd ever did. instant thumbs uo for this one,,, just feeeeeel that guitar solo,, send shivers down your back and into places only a doctor knows about, this song relates to a chacarter in the story The Wall called Pink who`s a rock star, he`s taken some heroin and is comatosed, his team are around him trying to bring him back but he`s slipping into being comfortably numb. If you havn`t already do The Great Gig In The Sky, not a live version but the album version.

@@Xabia18 The music is from the movie "The wall." About a f.up rockstar named Pink. It is the scene where he is suposed to perform on stage, but is found stoned and num in his room. His maneger and the doctor tryes to wake him up.

Yes that was a lot of people in fact they sold that show out 15 nights in a row! That's called earls Court in London and when Pink Floyd would announce a tour and people had seen them before they would leave in the middle of their own wedding to go stand in line for tickets!!!!

This is just awesome! I say it every time I see it and your reaction is spot on I have been lucky enough to see them live and you spend a lot of the time open mouthed at the sound and spectacle. Dave Gilmour just makes the guitar cry! Another Pink Floyd live performance that I think you would enjoy is On the Turning Away, its not from Pulse, but its a real band performance, I think you'll love it

I was at the Earls Court, London gig for this. It was unreal. Unbelievable. Such epicness and musical brilliance. Captivating. Atmospheric. Gilmour is a guitar genius. The first gig was stopped just as the introduction music was building up as there was a partial seat collapse! We all came back 2 weeks later. I was also pretty stoned as I think the entire audience was!! I'll never forget this for the rest of my life

I was also at that shortened concert and came back the following week. Probably the best concert of my life. Even if you weren't stoned Comfortably Numb took you to another place. During the intermission I spotted an old friend of mine (then doing a astrophysics post doctorate) a few rows in front of me and whilst saying hello got to meet his then boss. Hiss boss was a VIP invited by the band as he was featured on the Division Bell album. so the best concert of my life also featured meeting Dr Stephen Hawking.

Another great performance out of the whole Pulse concert (which was great and epic in its entirety) is „High hopes“. Also very emotional, nostalgic and deep lyrics. You will like it!

Anything from the Pulse concert is musical magic.....plus at least another 100 must see videos and must hear songs. High hopes has already been suggested from this concert..... I recommend SORROW as well. Also the original vinyl version of Time and the Great Gig in the Sky..... must be heard together as one song, and original version only..... vinyl or CD. The later remixes destroy the tone and some even remove the last 3 or 4 vocal notes....... these are the most crucial notes in the song.

David Gilmour the greatest slow hand guitarist. Another wonderful reaction to a classic Blessing. You should listen to The Great Gig In The Sky and learn to sing it. I think prog fits you nicely.

Dato che sono italiana ed amo la mia lingua e dato che esistono le traduzioni automatiche che ormai tutti i dispositivi media hanno , quindi risparmiatemi la fatica di scrivere in una lingua non mia ( e voi di dire che non capite) allora ci tengo a precisare che questa canzone non parla di uso di droghe ma si riconduce al fatto che ROGER WATERS che ha scritto il brano , durante una tappa di un tour dei Pink Floyd , si trovava a Philadelphia ed ebbe problemi di salute , forti dolori addominali e un medico per potergli permettere di continuare a salire sul palco e poter suonare gli fece un'iniezione di un miorilassante che per contro gli procurarono intorpidimento e senso di una confortevole dissociazione dalla realtà Così ha sempre spiegato WATERS Se poi ci volete vedere droga fate voi ( e chi se ne frega 😁...chi mal fa mal pensa. 😜
