What a sincere reaction.. It's nice to go back 10 seconds and listen again to some musical nuances. I love to see someone I agree with about Gilmour's genius and the breadth of his "event horizon." Very soon this masterpiece of art will turn 50 years old. I'm sure that 50 years from now (in the 100th year) someone will be making this commemoration and probably with this concert where the whole is played without interruption. I'm 55 now, maybe my youngest son can reach that day as an old man.. Cheers..

honestly cant see this concert without tearing up 😮😥 its just so special started listening to them in 97' I'm so glad my first encounter with their music was the 'wish you were here' album, somebody had thrown it out their window saw it in a gutter picked it up the rest is history lol

Don't forget the Encores! After DSotM ends, the band do 3 more songs as Encores. "Wish You Were Here", "Run Like Hell" & "Comfortably Numb". You have to watch & listen to them. The guitar solos in "Comfortably Numb" will blow you away...probably the best guitar solos of all time!!

So when this was recorded, these songs were already over 20 years old. And here it is another 30 years later (so 50 years since the original recordings), and these songs still feel fresh and new. I truly believe they are on the level of Mozart, Beethoven, etc, in how timeless their genius was and is, and how it will continue to be regarded as such for future generations.

That dude on the sax, Dicky Perry (Parry?), played on the studio recording of Dark Side, and on the Wish You Were Here album. He’s not been an official member of the band, but he’s every bit as important to their sound.

i love the sound of the sax and he did an amazing job iv herd him in my of reactions to pink floyd, amazing. thing like sax and trumpets and stuff dont get used anymore like they used to its a shame really is

Outwith how spectacular the audio & visuals are for this gig, just think of the set too. They done all of Division Bell, all of Dark Side Of The Moon. As well as, One Of These Days, SOYCD, Wish You Were Here, Run Like Hell, Another Brick & Comfortably Numb. I mean c'mon, that's just ridiculous! Most bands it's the most recent album they're trying to punt & maybe 3 of their old fav bangers that get played, then it's goodnight.

Thank You buddy, still had audio issues been doing my head in but am hoping am close to getting better audio untill i get a new mic but i think on my latest reaction it sounds much better, touch wood it stays that way. other than that i appreciate it bud. yep epic performance and iv not herd the album yet but the songs i have are just my sort of music. love it

You were there?? I'm so jealous man! That must have been a once in a lifetime experience. I'm in Perth West Aust & saw Pink Floyd once on their Division Bell world tour. Also went to Roger Waters concerts here 3 times. All the shows were sensational but none quite as epic as the Pulse concert you've been playing!!

There is still the encore to do yet, if you think it's been good up till now then you will be blown away with it, Comfortably Numb and then Run Like Hell will take your breath away especially the light show, I was there and left with my head in the clouds and didn't come down for a week .
