Pink floyd is the greatest band ever....... no doubt about it. I have never listened to another band that can move emotions in every word and note.

Fun fact, Algie Power Station: On December 2, 1976, the photoshoot took place at Battersea Power Station. The weather is stormy and the gloomy atmosphere offers a disturbing panorama, but exceptional for photography. A sniper was even hired to watch Algie (the pig's name) in the event of an incident, but ultimately the airship was not used that day. The entire Hipgnosis team is back the next day for the pig launch. As luck would have it, the shooter was not recalled by manager Steve O’Rourke. Eventually Algie crashed overnight in the middle of a Kent farm, his owner grumbling the next day that it frightened his herd of cows.

Here are some interesting puns while thinking of the title (Dogs) : - ... gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise. (Shaking off the water when soaked) - Who was told what to do by the man. (A good obedient dog) - Who was broken by trained personnel. (Training school) - Who was fitted with collar and chain. (Collar and chain, to control the dog) - Who was given a pat on the back. (Good dog, good dog)

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times...when you world turns to shit and you've had a crappy day, you come home, pour a scotch (or similar), or glass of red, drink that, pour another, drink that, then pour another one and go turn off all the lights. Put this record on. Go find a bean bag or deep leather couch, put your headphones on and sink down into it and sip away the final drink, and let the music sooth your soul !!!

Lil fun fact Roger wrote all the lyrics from 1968-1983 (except for 1 or 2 from early years after the 1st album) he also wrote the majority of the music(at least the. Basic structure) again exceptions . not to take away from anyone else david gilmour is my alltime favorite guitarist. David took over as floyds main songwriter in 1987 when he won a court battle against roger to have the right to keep pink floyd going with the other members.roger felt since he quit and all the lurics were his and a very high % of the music was his and roger was the cofounder of floyd(david came in on the 2nd album to basically replace the other founder Syd Barrett who was the songwriter guitarist n vocalist of the beginning but he went schizophrenic . david won and his wife became the lyricist for the last couple albums late 80's early 90's Still great. For your own upliftment check out the live version of comfortably numb 1994 pulse tour... David has whats been considered one of the alltime best epic solos . plus u can see how amazing the stage shows were. If u havnt heard the song i would suggest listening to the studio version to fsmiliarize yourself with it. Davids solo on the studio version (its from The wall album) is epic and live he's flawless then takes that epic 1 of the best and just skyrockets that sh:t..

Loved how your countenance changed from being involved with the bullshit of daily life to hopping on a 17 minute journey which made you forget your troubles for a segment of time.
