atoman9865 Well, my only experience with the sm57 was a counterfeit bought some years ago, before the Beyerdynamic. It wasn't a bad sounding mic, but it wasn't what I was supposed to buy neither. The Beyer M88TG is a very open sounding mic, very detailed with the right amount of bass. It works well with acoustic guitars, but for this purpose, I usually record with a ribbon mic which will bring some warmth to the sound.

Well, it is a Rams head Big Muff, so... You can totally nail the Animals-Final Cut tones era with it.

Unfortunately, this isn't something I recall. Like I said in an earlier comment : "There were three differents settings during the song. I can hardly remember the EQ of the Tube Driver, because I worked on it by ear in conjunction with my amp's settings. The drive knob had a 08:30 o'clock setting, a 11:00 o'clock setting and a 02:00 o'clock setting with a Philips Miniwatt ECC83 tube instead of the stock Butler tube (slightly less drive than usual 12ax7)." I've probably pushed the TD with a Demeter Compulator in front of it, set with a really high volume boost. Concerning the amp, I don't know either, I've kept changing my settings since that I honnestly can't remember what those were during the recording. The flashback delay may have been set to around 380ms, maybe... Or maybe I used the tap tempo... Sorry, I haven't documented any of this.
