On Tuesday the 27th April 2021
I was able to try to capture the full super pink moon as it rose out of the clouds near my home location in West Sussex UK.
We start off with some still images taken as the moon came up between the houses and rose out of the clouds.
While Pink Moon is just a name given out of ancient tradition the moon really did have a pinkish hue to it.
This tailed off as it rose.
After the stills comes some speeded up video footage, always difficult with the moon as it is so very bright compared with its surroundings, such that context is lost.
