She plays like she's on the corner waiting for bus.. so nonchalant she is.. her manurisms are too cute.. So many of these young kids are playing strong chess, I know I'm impressed! Teeedledum is so cute too and plays the same way as pinky.. I'm very happy to see the younger generation loving the game and keeping it alive and strong..

It's okay that you have an idea but ideas are just seeds towards a plan and are not meant to be used in their current form and are meant to be improvised. I'm sure it would have been a lot less distracting to her opponent than you because the latter playing chess matches all the time and her brain would have adapted to be very focused on the ches match. There can be 2 cooks each of whom cooks their own soup and one will have a different method than the other but both of them will get the job done. Pinkamena has more power than you to decide how to run her life. I don't think it's a tournament rule and I think that's good. That would be putting too much responsibility onto her. Her random actions might be like the effects of a glass of wine for an adult with a bigger body, on her opponent. Ratings are continuous and incremental. So her opponent's computation power might get reduced 5% and she can get a tiny miniscule lower rating from it and that's not so bad.

@@ajbueno2192 It is just a cultural thing and also she is just a child. The Navajo Indians in Arizona use the same gentle handclasp and many Russians do as well. Not everyone in the world has the same customs and should be respected for their differences. If you cultivate humility you will understand and appreciate cultural differences. It's more interesting when everybody isn't all the same.

It's pretty damn common for a kid to shake hands like a dead fish. We should already be aware of this and live on.
