It can't really be called a blunder. It was a dubious, yet courageous piece sac that Arjun went into intentionally, trusting himself to navigate the arising complexities, while knowing that his much lower rated opponent wouldn't be able to call his gamble that easily. And the gamble paid off very well in the end.

@@dennisbadzi1993 you can hardly call a calculated and intentional move a blunder. Usually blunders involve players not noticing a line or progression. What Arjun did was simply dubious. Essentially hoping that 2 pawn and an open position (ie giving himself space) is worth the bishop. Obviously computer thinks it's not, but sometimes players manipulate the position to favor their strengths not the computers strengths.

@@shivamsingh7389 it's a blunder because computer has shown lines refutation. Dubious is when there's no refutation for seemingly incorrect move.

Usually when you a lower rated player by such a margin, you doubt that the blunder is not a blunder and instead a trap, so you tend to do something naive to give back the advantage feeling that the trap has been avoided...so the higher rated player gets away harmless even after an obvious blunder...
