This music video was created in honor of martial arts. This is a collage of found footage from different sources such as youtube, Russian social networks and personal vhs-rips of our friends. Special thanks: Lölja Nordic
How are people still not talking about this band? People should be shouting their name from the rooftops. Only discovered them this month and I'm obsessed. They're like a juiced up Cocteau Twins!
May be it is due to the fact that bands from Russia find it more difficult to make themselves known internationally. Anyway,a big thank you to youtube.
My partner just showed me this and we're listening to it now and I'm really glad to find. Hella nice sound. I hear you. Shame how shoveling a lot of money seems to be the way to really get noticed a lot of the time. It's getting a bit better but monopolized to hell corperations w shit pay don't help
This song fills me with an unexplainable feeling, almost excited but with a hint of mystery and nostalgia. It reminds me of when my dad plays music like this during the summer in the car with the windows down
Pinkshinyultrablast - Holy Forest When I first saw you you were shy, shy and bright The summer was boring but I knew we'd be alright You called in the morning, we met almost at night Biked through the forest, holy forest full of light [Verse 2] Hiding away now we don’t know who we are Wish we could stay there how come we grew apart When you first saw me I was shy, shy and quiet That summer was boring but we knew we'd be alright
It’s emotional, man. It’s melodic as fuck. It’s self explanatory, “Dream-pop” it’s like being caught up in a never ending dream. Filled with emotions, ambition yet depression. I’m 30 years old have been a fan for a very long time. And I also compose this style.
How many of these stunts were real and how many of them were from movies? I find the balancing on one finger hard to believe. The bones in your finger would probably break because it can't handle your entire body weight, even if you had the upper body strength to pull it off. My guess is he had assistance from a harness.
Let me say a word about the video. Karate of Japan, Kung Fu of China, Taekwondo of Korea are intertwined. I wish I could unify the image a bit more. Music has no problem.
It’s true. I can add some personal context for this video as it’s creator: my dad was practicing and exploring different martial arts for years and had a big archive of different hand copied vhs that people spread during late Soviet Union years. for me learning about martial arts was big part of my early childhood and a lot of these clips I’ve seen many times at home. For this video I digitalized some copies and original footage made by my dad that were left at my parents house and found online others. Also I searched for specific practices that I remember from my childhood. So the usage of footage representing martial arts of different countries was conscious🌿
