Geez,man. What do you do for work? Props to you for doing so well to where you're able to provide for the family and enjoy the finer things. I finally just got a foot in the door and making great income myself. Paid off my car, got a great savings together, and to celebrate I bought a pint lol. Next up is the XR.

I think acceleration is the Key. Beginner mode has less acceleration and torque, therefore it takes longer to reach pushback speed... Nice video guys. Keep wheeling!

IMO having ridden both I personally like the feel of the Pint (the way it "carves" and turns) Waaaaay better. When I get on my XR now I feel like i'm on a damn log. I hope the next OneWheel is a Pint with more range and a bit brighter LEDS for night riding.

Your kids are adorable man. Your smallest on the pint looked like a good combo. For them having to wrestle with the larger XR seems daunting tbh.

had the board for 14 months with repeated minor issues before it was no longer ridable and needed significant additional cost to repair and bring back to original working order. Had to send it in 2x. The first was 2 weeks after i received it because it overcharged and just shut off while i was riding and didnt turn on again, repairs were covered under warranty. In the next 13 months i was constantly reaching out for minor troubleshooting, like reduced range, inaccurate app information making it challenging to plan a trip and the board tilting up unexpectedly. Finally, to its demise, the range of the board dropped to 2 miles with constant inaccurate range assumption in the app putting me in the position to lug the board around or having to cab to my destination because i couldn't accurately plan my trip. I was a loyal customer for 5 years since their kickstarter days and bought 3 boards, the last being the XR. My constant support and numerous referrals still landed me with a $480 bill to get this lemon board back in working order. Customer service was challenging to work with suggesting i use financing for repairs when i express several times it's a matter of principle that i won't pay their invoice for a lemon board that will likely fail again and the disregard for my long lasting and extremely supportive relationship that in the end was one-sided. Will never buy another product from them again. Boostedboard is already publicly reaching out to me with discounts and promises to treat me like a valued customer.

So, I need help. I don’t know if I want to get a XR or a pint. I’d love to ride on trails, and have a long battery and go fast. But, on the other hand id probably just ride on the sidewalk a lot. But is want the choice to still ride off road. BUT I’m young and don’t know if I should get the smaller one, or the bigger one. I’d have a lot of fun on both, but I can only get one. Which one should I get? I don’t want to spend a million dollars for something that sucks. Is buying the XR worth it? Or should I just get the pint? HELP idk what to do

Try it on uneven sidewalks with huge pot holes & bumps. My sidewalks are bumpier than the dirt & hills you're riding on!

Ryans front bumpers are awesome! They should be standard on a OW. I'm still recovering from my nosedive (i broke my left hand and i've got a joint prosthesis in my right arm). After that i sold my OW plus, so it's out of sight :) In one year i will try the Pint, but definitely with Ryans bumpers. Great video again, Jimmy! Cheers from Germany

beginner mode doesnt want you going too fast, which hinders the motor from pushbacking hard enough to prevent the nose drag (i guess, i dont own one)

Do u think in ur opinion that a crossblend between the pint an the xr+ with the pint's special features will be made? An if so "hypothetically" would u suggest waiting for a more blended product? I live in small condo, not alot of storage to have two O/W's or three O/W's.. I can only have one O/W an dont wanna have buyers remorse if a more blended product would be made lol

onewheel.. that's cool... I use to ride my, I used my brother's skateboard with the 4 wheels tho lol....it was when I was younger tho..but the onewheel looks like go more speed cool.. I would try that out...

2:04 simple solution for nose-dive during climb: reverse the throttle response, lean back = throttle up, lean forward = throttle down and break. PS these front-wheels have to become standard on these one-wheels of course. Push-back default setting must be OFF.

So curious what your thoughts are on the *BEST* front wheel for a full sized OneWheel XR? Fangs, or something else. Looks like those wheels Ryan has on the PINT work pretty well..wondering if those are food for the XR as well? Thoughts??

Trainer modes reduce torque which causes nose drags to be easier, because once balanced and moving a beginner shouldn't be applying enough forward pressure to actually drag, except when crashing, which a nose drag can slow runaway...

It's interesting that you didn't like the range and the speed in your 6-month follow up video. You must be really, really comfortable going fast. I found the ride on the pint to be different from anything else I've ever tried. My first 2 rides were 3km, around a parking lot and a 100m track with an incline. The incline was my first ride and I fell and got some road rash that's still healing. Some mom that was there asked me twice if I was okay and I just gave her a thumbs-up. I got back on and rode for a bit that day but I went home a bit after. I was a bit depressed that I suddenly felt like all the restrictions they tell you about the pint would mean it would be useless. Well yesterday I took it out on a 13km ride, all the way out to where I work along the waterfront in Toronto, and back to my house and it still had 40% charge when I got home. I also found that the 250W motor carries my 186lbs uphill fine. It felt like it had no problems at all getting me up there on ashphalt. I'm still pretty wary riding it but yesterday's ride was super fun. I saw someone riding the classic one in 2017 at Toronto Board Meeting and I just had to have one. Finally bought the pint and so far I really love it. I do love those bigger front wheels. That seems like a really nice touch. I might buy some fangs eventually. But maybe I'll just 3D print something. I 3D printed bang plates for the side so I don't scuff up my board.
