Today we'll be diving into the world of Pinterest SEO to help you grow your Pinterest account.
I'm getting about 70-80k outbound clicks from my Pinterest account which has 10+ Million monthly viewers, I've been talking about Pinterest on this channel for about 5 years now, and I want to pass some valuable tips to you.
I'll be sharing practical tips and insights that you can use right away to drive more traffic to your website. This video can end up a bit longer than usual, so feel free to use timestamps to watch the parts of the video which are the most interesting for you!
Let's begin by discussing what Pinterest SEO is for those who may not be familiar. Pinterest SEO is similar to Google SEO. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It's about optimizing your pins so that when users search for specific keywords or topics, Pinterest shows your pins to them.
For example, I could search here for "best vegetarian spring recipes" and you'll see that Pinterest is doing a pretty good job showing me mostly the pins that are about this exact topic.
The more impressions your pins get, the more comments and engagements your pins receive, the more organic free traffic you can get from Pinterest.

I know this comment is a little old but I was wondering what niche you’re in? I’m in the food and recipe niche and my username is krystelscooking and I’m new. I’ve only been on for less than 2 weeks but I’m like you in the fact that I put a lot of effort into my pins and I pin one unique pin of my own each day. I’m getting what I think are decent impressions, I feel like all of my pins at least have 50 impressions and a few have over a hundred with one having almost 4K, but my monthly views are at 2.4K 🤔. I don’t know if I’m doing good or bad because I’m so new. I wanted to see how your first month of doing that did for your monthly views?

Great video, thanks! I think I have my SEO done but now I'm doubting which language should I use in my profile description if I'm located in Mexico but sell internationally? Hello, Anastasia. Thank you so much for your videos, I have watched most of them. And on their basis, I began to promote the account of my online store. If I'm in Switzerland, my online store is also here. But we ship to the US and the website has a US version. I run Pinterest in English and I want to attract an audience from the USA there first of all. I have already changed the location to USA. I uploaded a product feed to the USA too. But still 80% of the traffic is from Switzerland and less than 1% from the USA. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to log in through VPN as if from the USA?

I actually don't have a Pinterest ad that goes directly to the Pinterest Masterclass. I have ads that go to my other lead magnets like Pinterest SEO checklist for example. Then I invite people to the free masterclass from the email follow-ups. Cost per lead around $1.5 - $2.

I'm confused about how Pinterest algorithm ranks pins. On Google, websites are displayed in search based on mostly relevance and the overall rankability score of the relevant pages in all of the search results. This means that a new, unknown website will be outranked by millions of others, and only the top ranking ones that outrank millions of others will ever get seen or clicked by actual humans. The only way to get even a tiny bit of traffic on Google is to pick a very low competition keyword that has virtually no one else that shows up when someone types that keyword in the query. So the entire game for ranking in search comes down to very low competition keywords. Is this not the case on Pinterest? If not, then how is it different than on Google?
