Thanks Anastasia....... Please ask, is it safe if I change my profile photo, name, about, and username on Pinterest? because I want to change the niche
have you encountered a problem with the quality of uploaded pins? regardless of how high the resolution is of my pins, they still get uploaded and lose quality DRASTICALLY once published 😭😭
My CTR is 1.48%. I have been sleeping on my website for the entire 2022 so this year I have decided to be more consistent at posting. Already seeing some results! Good luck to everybody here!
Thanks for sharing! good luck to you too. Blogging can become semi-passive and can sometimes survive a year on low maintenance with no drastic declines, I've seen many examples.
@@AnastasiaBlogger youtube recomended me your video and i am soo thankfull, really stuff girl btw i was wonderring do you need an editor for editing your videos girl?
Hello Anastasia Hope You are well. I have a Question in my mind "Is it Possbile to Use Multiple Pinterest Account on Same Device and Same internet Connection". I have 4 Websites & all of the sites have their different Pinterest Account according to their niche. So please tell me that is it Safe to use these 4 Pinterest on same device.
I create idea pins for now because I just opened an account on Pinterest. No matter what I do, Pinterest always reduce the quality of my idea pins.. What should I do please..
My CTR is 1.65%. I started following your teachings a week ago. Started blogging few months ago but never knew it was possible to gain traffic and monetise through Pinterest, now i know😊. I changed my inactive personal account to a business account , and have been consistently sharing pins and creating boards for a week now. I will keep at it. Hoping to come back to testify of my results.
If I calculated correctly, I have a .985% CTR on my hair & beauty account, and .75% on my business training account.😃 If that's correct, I guess I should just pin more!
Mam. I have a question about pinterest. How many pin can I post in a day? And can I post pin daily? Can I have 4-5 account? And last ..can I use all 4-5 account in a day for posting pin after some times?
Great point! Pinterest has a note there that many people use more than one type of device, and that each type of device is counted so that's how I guess it goes above 100%
hi morning i have a problem with my business account on pinterest when i am create idea pin my idea pin is not showing.. plzz tell me how to fix this error
Just checked a client account and the outbound click rate is 2.88% for the full year of 2022. While this may be a stat Pinterest provides us, I don't think this is an accurate way to calculate the CTR. Pinterest uses impressions to calculate but I use pin clicks to calculate it. Impressions assume people saw your pins. A user could scroll past a pin without ever seeing it and it counts as an impression. So I only focus on those I know saw the pins for sure and calculate from that. Then I use the pin click rate to figure out if the pins as a whole are getting noticed enough.
I started Pinterest a month ago and my ctr is 0.15%. I never used much text overlay because I sell art prints so I don’t want to cover the image with text. But what do you suggest I should write on the pin with wall art?
Hi! I think you should add text overlay above your art images, just add a frame above and put the text there without touching your art image. You can write what is on the wall art, or color or whatever people would search for if they wanted to find that image. for example: Eucalyptus Poster - Tropical Wall Art Ideas
First, 130k impressions is great for a one-month-old account, so congratulations! I suggested the most generic things in this video, don't use many video pins as they generate a lot of impressions and lower CTR, always add text overlay and ideally in the top part of the pin, pin design is also important. Some topics and types of pins will naturally get more Saves and fewer clicks (for example, quotes).
That's a good CTR. I think that older accounts with thousands of pins might be getting lower CTR over time and it might also depend on how many Idea pins and videos pin you create vs static pins. 1.2 followers just means that your account is probably relatively new, right? The following will grow organically, you don't need to do anything special for it to grow, maybe just create one Idea pin per day.
Can you please clarify how important for a custom made, fitted furniture manufacturer to keep filled up boards with our photos if I want to run pinterest ads with direct link to our website? Can they see our board when they click on our ads?
It's not important to keep your boards filled with only your photos, especially in the context of sending clicks from Pinterest Ads. Because from a promoted pin they will just right to your website skipping your actual pin close up so they don't even have a chance to see your Pinterest profile and boards, they go straight to your website and to that specific product that you linked to the promoted pin.
I calculated my CTR for the last 30 days on my Pinterest account like you mentioned and it's 0.6916%. I will be honest here and admit I'm not sure if that is good or bad. My pins are not ads at all, and the information I'm getting when looking it up tells me to do math concerning my number of ads, etc. so I don't understand how to know what it means. By the way, thank you for your excellent videos. I'm really enjoying them!
Thank you so much!! I was just trying to figure that out (related to the text overlay) I have found lots of images without it and that made me doubt myself lol. My other doubt is if I create my own pins using Canva images most of them come in a 16:9 or portrait type. Do those also lose quality when fitting the pin ratio? Thank you again.
Hey there, I actually have a different prblm. It's actually that on my pinterest my pins are showing 0 impression but it's showing the reactions (like hearts that people give). Can you tell me what's the problem?
0.94% but with just 213 views 🥴😌, but I know I haven't posted pins a couple of months and still beginner too. By the way, I find your videos very interesting with so much valuable information, thank you Anastasia. One question, is it possible for someone who is a bit introvert or doesn't write usually to have a blog website?
For sure, most of the bloggers are introverts and you don't even have to make a blog very personal, about you. Should be actually more about your readers and their interests.
Thanks Anastasia....... Please ask, is it safe if I change my profile photo, name, about, and username on Pinterest? because I want to change the niche
I tried to create a business profile for Pinterest and it asked me what the business is. What is the type of business to type in that field when you are a blogger? Thank you!
If Pinterest collected negative engagement data already on our account because of bad pins does the reputation score resets if the offender pins are deleted? And how long would that take to take effect? Anastasia please just give us your opinion or what your hunch tells you, based on your experience.
Good question! I'd like to know too. If there are entire boards with abysmally low CTR, to the point that the pins don't even get impressions anymore, is the entire account a lost cause and the best hope is to create a completely new one?
@@dailyshoppingdeals7492 I guess the only way we're going to find out is to experiment. RU-vid makes it easy to have multiple channels and switch between them. I hope it's as convenient with Pinterest. I'm about to find out.
What I can say is that I've noticed what we're suspecting. My Pinterest with the same name I'm using here, when I first started it, pins were getting way more impressions, but no saves or clicks. Now, presumably because of that track history, new pins (and boards) aren't even getting similar impressions (views).
What about if you are promoting products rather than blog posts, recipes, etc? The format of the posts on Pinterest seem geared towards visiting a website vs purchasing a product
Thank you! That was a great video! I have a question about the image pins…. My product is horizontal! (Like the ration of an Event Ticket.). How do I create a good Pinterest pin that highlights a horizontal product? Thanks for any help you can give me!
Hi there! Thank you for your kind feedback! Could you create a collage of your products, and use the top part of the pin as a text overlay? You can find in Canva many pin templates that have a grid for collages, just search for the term "collage" in Canva templates. I found this one by a quick search www.canva.com/templates/EAF8j8mYryA-white-and-gray-modern-minimalist-photo-collage/ but for this one you will need to add a section that has a text overlay, or use the top part of the pin for the text the bottom 2 for your products.
The horizontal pins thing raises an intersting point, especially regarding WordPress blogs. When we use RSS feeds to auto-pin, what gets pinned is the Featured Image from that blog post. Similarly, in WordPress/Jetpack social media buttons, when a reader clicks on the Pinterest button, again, what we get is the Featured Image. The problem is, what looks good on Pinterest is very rarely what looks good in a Featured Image on a blog. Especially if the blog's Theme is already incorproating Featured Images into page displays, and trying to use something that looks good as a pin as a Featured Image just ends up creating a hot mess. The only tenable solution I can think of is to find a WordPress theme that's designed with the idea of using vertical images as Featured Images. The alternative would be to just not use Featured Images at all, or completly turn off updating a Pinterest account via RSS. Any thoughts?
Hey, I have a point to make. I see the featured images published in Pinterest via RSS feed get more views than usual ones, despite the latter being vertical and infographic pins. Someone said the horizontal pins are not necessarily a bad thing and may catch eyes since they break the pattern of vertical pins. Also, I see the issue of not being able to schedule pins when I pin them directly from my site. Is there a workaround?
@@aruvel77 I usually schedule pins via Buffer. But it can work from WordPress too. If you're scheduling the entire post then the pin will go live shortly after WordPress publishes the post (when you're using RSS to automate the Pinterest/WordPress connection)
Most of my pins are auto generated through a Shopify feed, i.e the pictures in my online store are converted to pins automatically. They are not 2:3 as it would look strange on the website and the manufacturer only supplies square pictures. Am I now being punished by Pinterest for this as these auto generated pins are seen as low quality pins as they are not 2:3 ratio?? (I have seen a significant drop in traffic the last 3 months)
Hi there! Keep the auto-generated images, Pinterest has a separate algorithm for them in the Shop tab. They don't really get much space in the general search results. What I mean for eCommerce stores is that other than the catalogue feed, you shouldn't waste your time creating square images for products. If you do the work, it's best to do it in a vertical format.
@@HamzaAli-iv3ym That's a good ratio. I also do about 1 Idea pin a day now. However, I spent about 4-5 months prior to the last month doing 2 Idea pins per day + one video pin per day so I think this might have affected my average CTR.
