Whew the drop off at heart attack must have been serious pucker factor. I have a rubicon with JKS quick. Even with the push button sway bar disconnect I always completely disconnect. Good video. Fun to watch. See you on the Socal trails!
I'm using this thing called JKS flexconnect. It's a very cool product in my opinion.. It works well for most situations; especially in off-camber moments. It has springs inside the sway connect you can swap out. For daily use, I use the "red" springs which are pretty stiff but softens bumps on the road. But when I go offroad, I use the "blue" springs which they claim as a crawler springs. BUT, even with the "blue" crawler springs, I only get about 75% articulation of a full disconnect. So that pucker moment was my own doing... I should have only got about a foot of rear wheel in the air. Instead, I got 3+ feet!
