Pioneer AVIC-F Series 2.0 Firmware Update 

Firmware 2.0 goes a long way towards fixing many of the complaints people have about the F-Series, but there are still issues with the F-Series that need to be resolved. I hope Pioneer continues active firmware development for the F-Series

Good job Pioneer, this update goes along way for the company credibility on the F-Series. Make the next one have the 2d up capability in the map mode!

Excellent - a much needed update that installed very smoothly. I'm pretty impressed, though still irritated that there's a cap on phone book size transfer. Truncating after a few hundred entries is ridiculous. And those damn boxes are *STILL* over the map when not in navigation mode - irritating to no end!!! Oh well... perhaps in 2.1 or 3.0 Pioneer? ;-)

@PioneerMobile we speak english in Australia yet it was disabled here as well. which is a shame as other manufacturers had this option on cheaper units that shouldnt compare to the 900bt

Pioneer, good job on replying. It shows a lot about your company that you're tackling these complaints heads-on. However, your boot time is still atrocious. I have a $300 netbook running Windows that can boot and play music faster than that. I'll be sticking with my DEH-860MP until you get your boot-to-music time down to 10 seconds or less.

Hi I recently connected these stereo and it shows that the Bluetooth is playing but there’s no sound there’s sound when the radio is on but not with the Bluetooth is it because I’m using an iPhone 7

Sadly I have not had the same experience with complaints to Pioneer (see comments below) I have owned this unit for 8 months now and spent 8 months in conversation with both the dealer and Pioneer to attempt to get the thing working properly with no joy. Now Pioneer have said they will refund the dealer if they remove the unit but the dealer just wants me to keep returning it to them to see if they can fix the ongoing problems.. Fed up with not having my car for being at the dealer, want refund

Hi Randolph Alvear That pop up Screen imagery appear reversed will appear if you on camera option. Go to settings- Camera Settings- Camera OFF. If you have reverse camera then put rear camera ON. I Want latest pioneer AVIC F BT Series firmware. Can any please share link to download?

hey can you help me out i tried everything my AVIC-F7010BT keeps restarting after 5 min and at the menu logo says "system startup in progress.please wait" so i tried updating it,downloaded the update and and read the instructions and followed them and the update kept on crashing at 14% due to "copying error" then i checked the service Information and the version was "no version" and i kind of lost hope :/

Got a problem with my F900bt. its installed and all, but i get a message. CAUTION: SCREEN MAY BE REVERSE or something. but the music starts playing and i can access the MAP. but i cant access the system settings or the phone. cant even access the SD card. its just greyed out.. why is this? Regards.

I purchased and had my avic x930bt installed at a local best buy last christmas. It worked great up until my car battery died. Now the screen is asking for a password that I never put in nor did the best buy installer. How can I reset the password and get rid of this inconvenience? Any help or feedback is much appreciated!

Having problems intalling the updates! I've unzipped the files onto an sd card but when I put it in the sd slot and turn the ignition on nothing happens!! Not sure if its because I'm in the uk and the updates only work with US models. Any ideas???????

Then it decides not to connect your phone, tried it on 2 different phones and same story, then there are lots of posts on the net about this model just giving up and deing after a few months, software corrupts and seems to happen a lot, and pioneer is not helpfull at all in customer services, just be very wary, I bought one because of the name and wanted one but quite disapointed, ps, there is battery power going to the yellow wire but still won't hold memory, after about 5 minutes

YES. When connected to the USB It will ask if you want "airplane mode" I always answer no and I can play music or videos, and the bluetooth will answer the phone.

I think stating this as a state of the art piece of kit is a bit of an exageration, maps are about four years out of date and are desperately slow in use.

its ridiculous that you build a system that is so slow in today's technologies. Also one big - for your system is the lack of head up north in 2D maps, why did you disable this feature ? I loved previous avics due to this feature, why in the name of the lord its not possible to change your heading in 2D map ? and also why do we need to load up all european maps into system if you sell the avic in north america ? do you think that people from here go to europe ?

Do Not buy one, I did, and had nothing but problems with it from day 1, I am an auto electrician so I know my stuff. The system has mickey mouse wiring and can't keep memory of radio presets and cd tracks etc, the handbrake wire is a pain (I just connected the green wire to the frame and fixed that), there is no power off button, it takes an age to load up and the voice command will not work, also there is no instruction user manual in the box, it drains the battery

Bought the 940bt and have had nothing but trouble from it. Won't integrate with the car, software won't initialise so no Navgate, no App radio and no Musicsphere. Pioneer less than helpful. Sat NAv very out of date and wouldn't recognise Westfields Shopping centre in Stratford! Firmware update added a random password which rendered the unit unusable until I took it back to the dealer for a 4th time to have them re-set it. Nothing good to say about either the unit OR Pioneer. AVOID!
