Pioneer Chicken is a Los Angeles legendary fast food restaurant that has been running since 1961 and High & Hungry was fortunate to get in touch, try out the food and briefly show the history that has never left the industry especially during the COVID area. It was able to stand tall and push through. It has only two locations out the many from years past - Boyle Heights and Bell Gardens. Don't let this fact discourage you from taking a trip to Pioneer Chicken. It's only a couple of blocks down from the infamous 6th Street Bridge. Their style of fried chicken speaks fish n' chips and it's delicious in every bite. Even their setting brings peace while you dine. They have orange bang, the famous gizzards, and they have Pioneer Pete; most of all they have a sense of what it's like to be communal and to have Ernie Aguirre, the man behind the plan who hungry to push Pioneer Chicken next level, we give thanks to you and the rest of Pioneer Chicken family.
