You know what you are doing unfortunately you skipped over how you applied the stain. As someone that is unfamiliar with wood working I still don't know.
There are proper how to videos out there. I’ve pasted a link below. Thanks for watching! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EZ2w0DBLkTI.htmlsi=ez45gitT-DfOnbri
Nice work, I have a set of pioneer CS - A500 bumps gone on the Tweeter as well. The woofer you have to push on it to make it play it doesn't do it no more very well. Now I got to find a way to rebuild it or someone I can. They played great for years as a garage speakers
I use to have a pair of these. My brother bought them from the PX in 1973 when he was stationed in Guam. He still has a pair of them. Wish that I still had mine. I would upgrade the electronics and refoam the speakers just as you did. Btw, I noticed that your subwoofer is sitting on top of the left speaker. I think that your sound would be much better if you sat it on the floor. At least that's how I always do it.
They’re a great set of speakers! More often than not I see them pop up for sale. Definitely a fun project. My sub, I have since upgraded systems. The sun is strictly ss/tv while my pioneer speakers are tied into a vintage Yamaha receiver and vintage pioneer TT 🤙 Thanks for watching Terry!
