dont buy them they are expensive and l00k like garbage get the presonus eris 8 xt or studio 8 they look and sound beutiful. you just buying the brand but they look like garbage

Wow....only 20 comments....where's the love & reverence?? I have to admit though....when I first became aware of the VM-series and saw that they were labeled DJ monitors, I did not take them seriously(had I done so )...I would have chosen the VM's over the KRK Rokit G4's.

Spot-on question here. First thing that came to my mind for a comparison -- the KRK Rokit RP10-3 3-way Generation 4 with the intricate DSP control.

Why does the black model have to be mean and the white model be friendly?

Because with all the pronounced angles and edges, the black ones look like Darth Vader or something. The mix of white and silver also looks quite sci-fi but less ‘edgy’ to my eyes. But it’s only aesthetics, your opinion may vary.

I’ve been listening to them today, next to the Focal Alpha EVO 80. The Focal blows these speakers away in every sight. For that little bit more money you should buy the Focal. Or another speaker, the Pioneers are really disappointing in my opinion.

Focal is for home Hi-Fi use mostly, although they do have some under-performing, high-priced studio monitors.

@@frankfarago2825 For home dj’ing the EVO 80 is great. I use Adam A77X’s but my friend has the EVO’s and they are 👍🏻 for the cash you pay.
