Bit misleading, since it only works on 2 channels as a standalone, you have to use rekordbox link or serato to turn on the other 2 channels, or link external players.
A Pioneer can you make a similar one to this but More diverse for every type of media such as the neumark mix deck quad. With Built-in MP3 CD decks USB's So on and so on but a high quality one
The 'I just pressed a button' gesture where the dj yanks their hand up to face level is a little too exaggerated. We get it...the thing has buttons on it. It is a 2-Channel Standalone Unit, and a 4-Channel controller. Putting it out there as a 4-channel 'standalone controller' is deceptive. A laptop or a pair of external media players are required for 4-channel functionality.
Please help guys, I got my XDJ XZ unit today and when I’m mixing a 150 bpm song with a 70 bpm song and press sync it will sync the 70 bpm track to 150 like the other one instead of doing 75bpm..... please help, it’s so annoying :frowning: it should stay at half and not boost the track to the limit. I should also mention that I’m using the unit fully in stand alone mode with just an usb drive
Yes good luck with that lmao. Go pay almost twice as much as a Prime 4 for something that’s 2 channel standalone and can’t even analyze raw music files off a usb stick . Also has no edit grid option on the unit itself like the Prime 4.
@@wouterhavermans4284 agree here... this is still a 2 channel with an option to expand... extra effects which is true... but u can get creative with the RX2 as a start up unit.. :-)
See this would be great if you could access the 3rd and 4th decks when it was standalone. It’s not like they can’t do it seeing as the DDJ 1000 and 1000srt can. Even the SB3 with their two channels can access four decks. Seems like a cash grab to make you buy 2 more CDJs.
I had the 1200s amazing decks, i wish i never sold them tbf still have my vinyl though. I'm actually looking at buying this set up for my man cave in the garden.
Personally I take the XZ over the Prime 4, but that's because emulating the club standard CDJ+DJM setup as closely as possible is very important to me. The XDJ-XZ was never designed to be an answer to the Prime 4- it was designed to carry over ~90% of the CDJ+DJM feature set at a greatly reduced price. It makes a lot of sense for DJs like me, who want to practice for their residencies or put on events at smaller venues without their own backline. If you're an amateur/newer DJ or a professional working outside of clubs and the Pioneer ecosystem, and you're looking for a full-featured all in one unit, then I would absolutely recommend the Prime 4. But if you're like me, and looking for something that comes as close to the club standard as possible, then the Prime 4 doesn't really do much for you. That's why I like the XZ. It's for me, but it's not for most people.
Can any one help me I am trying to buy a System. Not too expensive and not too cheap and can you tell me what store I can go too I just want it for home been looking in the internet and there is so much stuff I don’t no what to do I want to play my vinyl albums thank you
@@mutisesmutis2522 it's 2k plus and what all do you get? Do you get just that or if your upgrading your stuff do speakers or anything cone with it like the stand and or no? I want to buy everything..... To get it started for gigs.... Thanks and the best price for everything and maybe Bluetooth light's!
I'd assume it can record for as long as goi have USB space to do so. It writes directly to usb 2 so there shouldn't be any hardware limitations to record length.
He literally never touched the actual CDJ style turntables once. The history and essence of a DJ is to be able to mix, scratch and blend records and use both hands, not just on knobs.
Totally agree.... this isn't DJing..... this is just chopping tracks up and being annoying.... do this in my local club and he'd be chased out of the joint within 10 minutes.... beatmatching by ear, having a great vinyl collection.... that's what it used to be about.... I accept that things move on but people should never confuse this garbage with being a house music DJ....
ENGLISH: Good Morning. As a pioneer user for more than 20 years starting with a djm 500, then a djm600, then a djm900nxs2, standalone rx2 which I sold, I want to convey my sincere disappointment with the brand with the direction that pioneer is taking with its latest products , more specifically with the dj controllers, you are making the client take as an option other brands that were behind regarding pioneer and among them me. You are making controllers that are missing many things, or things that a specific model lacks, you put it in another, and that other lacks what the previous one has, I do not know if I explain myself well. And all this you do is not to lose sales of your star product which is cdj2000nxs2 which is at an exorbitant price. Most of us are disgusted with the xdj xz which you advertise is 4 channels, but then with usb they can only use 2, you don't put usb 3.0, the truth is that since they did not give me one I would not buy anything from pioneer since you are lagging behind, for example with denon who is bringing out products that are up to these times, I just wanted to convey my most sincere opinion on behalf of many pioneer users around the world. Put the batteries and make a standalone of 4 channels by usb, with a screen in condition, with a resolution in condition and with all the options that a controller must offer: hardness of jog wheel, 4 channels BY usb, usb 3.0, .FLAC and a long ect. You are forcing all users to change brands. Thank you very much. YOU HAVE THE SAME MENTALITY THAT APPLE AND IT IS A MISTAKE
