Looks like the perfect controller but I have to ask why not have dual laptop dedicated usb inputs to avoid even having to do the manual switchover

everybody bitching about the lack of a 2nd usb for laptop... the overall design of this is to be a "STANDALONE" mixer. Buy a couple of vinyl decks or even some CDJs and get rid of the laptop. This piece is still 5 grand less than buying a nexus2 set up.

I'm not a huge serato guy but thats lame that it only has one usb port for laptops. Very limiting for a "powerhouse" in my opinion

Appreciate the walkthrough - I still love my Numark NS7 2, and really would hate to move away from the motorized decks, but this seems to be a viable option for upgrade.

Not having two USBs for 2 laptops at the same time is such an oversight. This has so much and they forgot that one big feature standard in even pioneer controllers half this price lol

we just want a DDJSZ3. Capacitive jogs like the DDJ 800 with the wave forms in the display. Keep serato effects and add feedback reducer on the mic. and im good

Hi, I used to try this console while I was playing on some Open Deck. But I've been told it works only with recordbox.. so I always transfex my playlist from serato to recordbox. It would be way easier to work only on serato but how I can do that ? Another question is how to make rekordbox wave line so colorful as its in Serato? In rexorbox i get it only while and blue...

Great Demo Thanks Bro You the Man! For Djs wanting 2 Usb’s to connect 2 Laptops this unit was designed as standalone! I get its hard to drift away from using a laptop! But the screen just makes you get a custom to another scenario! It’s good to have as second choice!

One thing Serato needs to do that from my knowledge has never done is have a DJ from Washington DC come on and play a set featuring our local music Go-Go.

How do I get the waveforms to display on the xz screen and jogwheels? Do they only display using usb bc I use my macbook (Djay Pro) and no waveforms display on the controller. I also already analyzed the tracks I am trying to play.

I Need help, when I use Pitch Play. Its only one Range. When I have a Controller like a flx10 I can use the Parameter for up and down Range. How I can do it with the xz ?🥲 anyone can help?

Honestly the only reason why I never bought this controller as much as I love it is because I didn't have the twin laptop USB back to back DJ switch up ports. It only has one laptop port.

Definitely a great video I do wonder what the quality of the mixer is. Pioneer has not put out a decent mixer in a controller ever. I had an sx 1&2 an sz 1&2 and sold all to get a denon mcx8000 just cause it sounds better there is a big difference imo. I’d love to go back to pioneer maybe this unit will be it.

something aint right here. If it can switch to decks 3 and 4 in serato using shift shift, .... the only reason the zx can't do decks 3 and 4 with usbs is if they designed it to only use 2 channels on purpose... it's a software limitation. They should totally be able to release a patch to change this...

3:44 I have a complain. Every time I load a song, using Serato, i have to press the “Back” button in order to load a 2nd one to the other deck (working in the same folder). What can I do to correct that bug?

I don't know anything about controllers, cuz ive always used single decks, but u have 2 use serato in order 2 use all 4 channels? What if i had 2 cdjs hooked up 2 this controller, and just had all my Musix on usb sticks. I wouldn't be able 2 use them, unless i had serato?

How do I fix my play, cue, and hot cues lights? When I link serato to my controller, my play and cue don’t turn green and yellow. Hot cue lights stay blue. But with rekordbox, I don’t have that problem. Thank you.

I was wondering if you or any of your viewers have had this issue with the XDJ Xz. My Hot cues, for a song, will trigger my four top pads as hot cues. But the bottom four pads will trigger my samples. This only happens on deck 2. Deck one will trigger all eight Hot Cues for a song. But not deck 2. I just purchased my XDJ XZ a couple days ago. I'm pretty sure it's something minor I touched. Does anyone know what I need to do to get my bottom four pads back to hot cues again? Thanks in advance

I appeciate your skills abouXDJ-XZ but Serato DJ in general is totally worst sound compared with Serato Scrach Live by Rane or Rekordbox. After a lot of tests between Serato DJ and Traktor i will choose Traktor sounds all the day. Before a lot of features you should test the sound quality. Also, Xone mixers are a lot better in terms od sound quality compared with any Pioneers mixers. Only one mixer from Pioneer (V10 maybe) can be compared with Xone 96 in terms of sound quality. Please do this test , after that be honest and let us know if i’m wrong - make this two comparations : 1. Rekordbox or Traktor VS. Serato DJ 2. Pioneer DJM Nexus or XDJ-XX VS. Xone 96

So yall can put the music wave on the platters for this controller but can't do it for the 1000 srt even though it's basically the same thing. I call bullshit on this. It should be the same experience across the board specially when you have thr same platters on both controllers

Beyond comprehension that this thing only has 1 USB in 2020! That should now be automatic for any controller or mixer moving forward!

For $2400 Pioneer couldn’t put two connections for two Djs!

I have played on this and all I have to say is, until you can do all 4 channels off a USB it is overpriced as hell. You might as well just take the other two channels off the damn mixer as it would be better to go a full standalone setup if you have to plug in a computer anyways. I really don't know who this was made for as it does not fit well with professionals and is priced beyond the bedroom for what you get.

Pretty lame it’s not a stand alone 4 deck mixer. Definitely going with the Denon Prime 4!

What hapens if pitch fader is moved, are beatgrid react coresponding to pitch corection? couse on RX2 is not work, move the pitch, the bpm is move but the beatgrid on unit display remain on original bom size

I see many people hitting the wrong deck when loading a track.

You need buy Pioneer SZ or SZ2, Denon MCX8000, Numark but no that shit... it,s so beautifull but uncomfotable for playing with serato with 4 decks....
