Pioneers of Pagonia - (Island Colonizing Settlement Builder) [Steam Release] 

I.. disagree. The Settlers inspired countless colony builders. This is.. just embarrasingly bad. Nook keeps getting stuff stolen by thieves. Eventually you discover you need an Adventurer's Guild and Rangers stationed in your guard towers to deal with those because the 'guards' mostly just plant rocks. Thieves and bandits will happily wander past guard towers because unlike most games, guard towers ignore them. Then if a guard tries to engage, they'll do it one at a time and get slaughtered. Then you might get an 'aha' moment and repopulate the towers with soldiers, who stand a slightly better chance. And you can't just tell your soldiers to go attack a bandit camp, because first you have to put them in a guard tower and then tell them to patrol to the enemy camp. Compare it to something like Farthest Frontier and it's terrible for building placement, snapping, managing production chains and logistics. About the only thing it seems to have in common with The Settlers is the art style. It needs A LOT of work still.

@brolohalflemming7042 and yet it's only an early access waiting for community feedback and not being sold as a fully polished $60 plus game that settlers new alliances has done which technically it's an early access game as well and the developer doesn't have a clue what they built. It has nice flashy Graphics it's all that's going for it

@@Funkiyy I'm wondering if the devs really were involved in the original Settlers. Colony builders have moved on a lot since then, but this game seems to have moved backwards. It shouldn't really need community feedback to understand it's waaay behind the curve.

@brolohalflemming7042 it's not lying what it isn't, and a lot's going to happen through its development. The settlers' new alliances don't even have their own Discord, so hope and pray it gets updated, which most likely will fade away into abandonware.
