On December 19, 2022, Primetals Technologies-together with partners voestalpine and Fortescue-took the first step toward building an industrial-scale plant that will include the revolutionary HYFOR technology and the newly developed Smelter. The partnership will cover everything from raw-material procurement to the final link of the ironmaking production chain.
