I REALLY want this editor :D. Its seems AWESOME!! I cannot wait to use the PiP if I get it. Split screens and Videos in Frames seems helpful with my video needs.
After the latest update, I can't resize like you're doing at 1:22 video mark. If I resize on one side, it automatically resizes on all 4 sides - it doesn't stay in a place like it used to. It moves on all sides, so I can't position it on the screen. For example, if I want to resize the video to fit only a quarter of the screen, I used to hold the lower right anchor point and drag it to the middle of the screen (while maintaining the aspect ratio). And then my video fitted perfectly in the left top corner covering from the top and from left to the center. Now if I drag the lower anchor point - it changes position on all 4 sides, so I can't adjust exactly to the quarter of the screen, because it doesn't stay in place. How can I fix it?
Hi, In the new version of PowerDirector 19/365, the resizing will resize the object on all 4 sides directly. We've forwarded your experience and feedback to our concerned team as development reference. Thanks for your feedback. As workaround, after you re-sized the object, you may consider re-positioning the object per the auto snap line further.
@@CyberLinkOfficial The problem is I can't set the correct size when all sides are moving. So, if I reposition after re-sizing - it's the wrong size every time. Also, now you need to remove this video... since this tutorial is not usable anymore...
This was a tutorial on the very thing I was trying to figure out how to do, but it was so poorly explained and rushed I'm still none the wiser. What are key frames? How on earth did he even bring up the menu to add more? All I want to be able to do is have my webcam full screen and then have it shrink up in to a corner like so many videos do. He breezed through it as if it's super easy which I'm sure it is when you know how to do it but this tutorial didn't explain how.
Try Maliek (PowerDirector University). He explains concepts in a lot more detail, and is very entertaining to boot. He has series for each version of PD going back quite a ways. Here's his most recent for the PiP functionality: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_8OCxBN-Nyc.html
Right up front you said; "Higher number tracks have priority", what does that mean in terms of video production? I noticed the lower tracks overlay the higher ones (the opposite of every other video editor I've used), which seems backward from what you said.
I try to resize the image after clicking the modify tab, but I am unable to. Selecting the hand I'm able to move the entire image around, but nothing I do lets me actually change the size. Help?
HI,I must say is not clear for me how you make mask on a video....On 4th minute you take a photo of the video which then you make it mask and you overlay it on the video...?
It seems the PIP objects always go over the top of a video. I am putting my own photo on a wall in a museum like it's on display. As people are walking by, my photo is going over the top of the people walking. I absolutely can not figure out how to make it look normal, like the people are walking past and in front of the "painting" on the wall. How do I due this? Thanks! I have PD 15.
How have I gone using this software for over a decade and not known about masks or the fact you can just slap motion blur onto images!? Dang... I need to look over some tutorials and look at what other tools I've never used.
Hi, For the videos that produced by the free Essential edition, there will be a PowerDirector watermark on the video. If you would like to produce non-watermark video using PowerDirector, you can purchase the paid version of PowerDirector 365 or PowerDirector 19 Ultimate/Ultra edition on our web store: www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector-video-editing-software/overview_en_US.html
Hi, The Mask feature that was originally in PiP Designer has been largely expanded and enhanced in the standalone "Mask Designer" feature in later versions of PowerDirector. To use Mask Designer in PowerDirector, you can refer to the user guide: help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdirector/21/win/enu/14_00_00_mask_designer.html Thank you :D
This video shows what is capable but I wouldn't call it a "tutorial" because it doesn't explain HOW to do anything. I've been trying to do something simple: Get one video to show in the corner of the screen and I'm just running into all kinds of problems. It shouldn't be so hard.
