I need to stop binge watching these videos! I always find some new tool for the 1st time and think I need to order it to add to all my other tools. Nice result. I never knew how they cleaned up so well.
While personally, I have zero need for such a tool, I am really impressed with how quickly and smoothly(and uniformly!) it took off material in so few passes! I don't think I've ever seen any sanding/grinding tool do it's intended job so damn well! I'm going to create a need for that tool now!
Круто) Недавно видел перила в 5 этажей, которые заинтересовали своей гладкостью и идеальностью по всей длине. Все думал - как так, где стыки) Видимо использовалась подобная технология.
I polished dairy fittings for 1 year (bench mounted polishing lathe), I quickly realized you would be crazy to make a career out of it. Your arms and back can't take much more than 5-10 years of this before you are a cripple all the while making next to no money. It's like being in the NFL for $30k a year.
Wow, thanks for making this beautiful video. Must say grinding is a new sexy. So satisfying. But I wonder about the strength of the welded area. does grinding+polishing makes it stronger or even weaker? Or it separated between surface ability to held corrosion but weaken the strength of the structure itself? I will appreciated if there's some explanation. Thank you~
Polishing stainless steel tube as demonstrated removes the reinforcement of the weld, but a weld ( TIG ) which has the correct penetration would still have adequate strength.
When you step into a food processing plant where they likely make something you consume, do you want it to be clean or do you want bacteria growing everywhere?
you guys have obviously never worked in architectural industry.. go down to your city library and look at the SS handrails there.. they are most likely seamless with #4 or #6 finish...
