If our rig was ever that dirty we'd be working a double to clean that mess....that's what a greenhorn is for....to be a gopher and keep the place clean
Hahaha! That is India, the higher ups pocket all the money and engage illiterate labour like that guy with no Safety equipments and HELMET. However the show goes on. Thanks.
I'll tell you this much it's nice to see some roughnecks taking their time on making this connection cousin Texas they would run you off for making a connection so slow you guys got to tighten up your crew look at the rig floor look at all the grime and muck take some pride in your work hands
Reminds me of Poppin New Guinea where we couldn’t get the floor hands to wear their boots. They work the floor barefoot but their feet would like half-inch leather
Muricsns Hootin and hollering , chest bumping each other throwing chains thinking their gods these fellas casually slinging a rope still getting it done 😂😂😂
Nah, the 'one man show' is a clown. Working like a dog to line the pockets of the fossil fuel execs. These lads here are like, 'ok, we'll connect your pipe, but we're doing it at our speed. It takes as long as it takes'. Sensible chaps.
One roughneck disappeared for few minutes while making connections then one showed up besides the driller i suppose he is the pusher then the roughneck showed up again. Whats missing in both of them? This is India.
These days buddy you can start roughnecking in your 50s easy. As long as you're able to carry about 50 lbs and climb steps. Most equipment is automated these days at all of your big drilling outfits. Patterson uti, precision drilling, nabors, h&p. Those guys have automated equipment. Running levers and scrubbing the rig. It's a good pay though.
Mark Griffiths why if half the effort gets the job done who gives a fuck , who u trying to impress , the term busy fool springs to mind when I see people rushing doing tryin to save 20 seconds makes me laugh ,
@@keithy363 busy fools hey . Yeah I guess there a lot of go go go for nothing these days .. but there was reason why making connections was such a hurried event.. there are dangers in a static well..
@@keithy363 actualy floats are so put in string so you can make quick connections. Hence the hole for pressure readings. And bops are last line of defense. First line is proper hole fill and proper well conditioning which is quick connections reducing hole problems ie mud rings. Reducing static well time
Yeah I noticed that also he takes about 10 seconds spraying the box to get it nice and pretty and free of mud to just say fuck it when it comes to dope
Hahaha! The biggest joke is the audacity of the drilling contractor ONGC displaying the Logo ONGC with the slogan follow the SOP to avoid accidents and one the floor man wearing ordinary T shirt, no safety equipments and most importantly NO HELMET. This can happen only in India. Thanks.
Got to be in Pakistan orBangladeshi or some other country not bothered by the EPA DEQ OSHA PETA SIERRA and they really want to pay a lot of overtime and overhead and all workers must bring own food and tents and hashish
