I’m a new pipe smoker and a vascular technologist, your explanation was spot on and very clear. Great work, the only thing to add is strong alcohol and smoking can be problematic. The strong alcohol strips away the mouth mucosa and allows inflammation of the gums and tongue . Great explanation !!
I had a bad heart attack when I was 34 years old. I quit smoking cigarettes that day. 12 yeas later now and I got into the pipe. maybe a bowl a day in the summer less in the winter. Not inhaling is very important. the lungs allow the chemicals to enter the bloodstream very rapidly. My doctor said I have a better chance of getting hit by a bus than major health risks from a bowl a day. All the best to you. Keep that nitro spray close!
I’ve smoked cigars for 40 years my heart and lungs are perfect. I’m going to switch to pipes due to cost. I like very expensive cigars. So I’m switching.
Ramon Benitez - just started my collection of cigar and i need to stop 😂. I think im going to stop at 100 cigars, hopefully. But a friend mentioned about pipes because he loves it. Now im adding myself in the pipeworld. I hope i dont get too hook 😁👍🏼
Great Video!! My dad smoked pipes and cigars from the age of 14 'till his passing at the age of 84. I always called him the 80/20 smoker. Pipes and cigars respectively. Never had a problem with coughing or mouth problems. Always had a good yearly physical. His doctors, never as far as I know, ever told him to refrain from smoking. I had aunts and uncles who smoked cigs. Most had health problems, I believe that stemmed from cigarette smoking. Keep piping sir!
believe what you want but it has to do with your cancer inhibiting genes being activated, not activated or mutated. some can smoke cartons a day and never develop cancer some can develop cancer without ever being smoking. science.
grr ummmpee That does seem to be the case. How else can you explain one man who gets emphysema at 35 from average smoking habits, while another man chain-smokes at the age of 85 and is perfectly healthy? Genes play a HUGE roll in our health, how big we grow, our athletic capabilities, our intelligence, etc., etc.
Good to see you feeling better. Knowledge is power. It sounds like you could do a lot worse than relaxing with one of your favorite pipes. Unwinding with a nice bowl and a few YTPC videos has really helped me reduce my stress levels. Looking forward to many more of your videos.
So nice to have you back! And believe me, one bowl a day is no problem. I do it and I have a great pleasure during the day knowing about my pipe in the evening.
That's how i figure it. Having that one bowl in the evening out on the porch makes it something to look forward to each day. There may be more good to this than I realize. I'm sure i will learn to deal with it and appreciate my pipe that much more. Be well...
Im a new pipe smoker briar. I've watched many of ur videos and appreciate ur time taken. Sucks to hear about ur issue, as im sure it will mean less of what you love. I was a cig smoker, quit by vaping, and then found pipe smoking. This is a great video concerning the issues that go silent for those of us who use tobacco products. Hopefully there will be a silver lining here for all.
Been watching your videos lately and subscribed to your channel, really enjoing the videos. you have a fan in Israel. was sorry to hear about your health issues, I hope it will improve and you'll feel better soon. Take care. Tamir Kohn
Thanks for the info, I, mehmet glad you're well no looking after yourself. I smoke with a filter, better safe than sorry. back smoking the pipe after throwing them away few years ago. Enjoying it more now than ever maybe something to do with being more relaxed in myself. Gad bless from Ireland
Great News Mike, what's life without a few guilty (and not entirely healthy) pleasures. I'm so glad you'll be able to continue smoking your pipes. I'm also happy that I'll be able to keep watching and enjoying your videos☺. Stay well brother.
I hear ya! We all need our vices LOL. I look at it this way....I can still have a pipe now and then, and look at all the money I'll save on tobacco! Thanks for watching and be well...
You do not know me but i do. Been watching your videos for a long time. I was so glad to hear your good news that i thought its time to say hello and thanks for all the great videos. It will be good to hear when you know more about the low nicotine tobaccos. Thanks again.
Mike, I am glad you can still enjoy a pipe. Thanks for sharing the info on nicotine and how it affects the heart. Prayers sent and hoping each day finds you feeling better. Take care brother, thinking of you. Phil
This is all so interesting Mike, I'm so happy to see you back on...your one of my favorite guys in the community and I care a lot about your health, I'm looking forward to hearing about the nicotine contents from JM, please keep us informed!!
Thank you brother! I appreciate the support and kind words. It is kinda interesting to me as well and I'm sure I'll learn much more about tobacco blends.
Wishing you well. Thank you for this health information on pipe smoking. I worry about this as well. Usually enjoy one bowl a day at night on patio. My instinct has been to switch to low nicotine pipe tobacco and you have validated that decision. I am also smoking 1 Q which, my tobacco store calls “Gold Rush”. The place is Ye Olde Pipe & Tobacco Shoppe & they helped me with another light blend they call “1776” an all American light blend. I like it. They are in Phoenix, AZ and ship bulk product. Lately, I try to skip a day every four days and set the pipe aside for a day of rest. Also brush teeth, tongue, gums and mouth with a 50/50 mix of table salt and baking soda for 2 minutes an hour after my smoke. Again, instinct tells me this may help reduce ill effects of the tars and carbon deposits on gums and soft tissues in the mouth. Can’t hurt. But thank you for this video and best of luck to you and stay well.
YAY!! Man, great report from the Doc's!!! I love 1-Q, so glad to hear it's low in nicotine... Man, I'm so happy for you; prayers answered! Take care of yourself & do a GAW of your high nic blends LOL!!! Take care, buddy! - BGD
May I continue with this? - It's like eating one steak a day. One slab of meat won't kill you now, but it will in the long run but you shouldn't care since the damage would come really slowly with moderation, and you could very well die of old age before you could even remotely approach dying of diseases/cancers of red meat (The steak we commonly eat) Same goes with pipe and cigar smoking. Moderation is key, and if you smoke once a week or maybe once every three or four days, then it's more likely you'll die of old age before the damage of pipe tobacco or cigar could kill you. (Of course, cigars will raise your chances of getting lip cancer higher compared to pipe smokers, but it's way better than the chemical-coated cigarettes)
I know this is an old comment, but just now seeing this. I'm amazed that you just came off of a July 4th weekend and you haven't smoked a pipe yet? Wow! Happy Piping.
I'v been a pipe smoker for over forty years and I also follow the same precautions that you have done. I also take a full chest x-ray every three years and my results have been clear. Thank you for telling me about the nicotine content on certain tobacco. I will keep that in mind the next time I smoke tobacco that contains perique. Luckily I only smoke Frog Mortin on the Bayou once a month. Thank you for your input it was very informative.
After smoking as long as we have, you gotta watch for anything that might show up but I think most pipe smokers remain pretty healthy. I'm not much of a perique fan, but I know it's in some of the blends I smoke now so that's gotta go. Be well..
I smoke Boswell's Northwoods and absolutely love it, especially in the fall and winter months. I'm sure you've tried it or had it in your regular rotation. I've surprisingly been enjoying Sutliff Molto Dolce. It's quite the treat. Stay healthy and continue to enjoy our unique pastime.
It feels good to have a bowl. I didn't even finish it and it's been a month since I smoked so there goes the myth about pipe smoking being an addiction.
WHEEEEYYYY! Glad to see you can have a few bowls every-no-and-then matey! Good to see a vid too! Have you thought about sticking to filter pipes to help absorb some of the nicotine? Also, you may want to check out hookahs/shisha tobacco as most of it is "washed" tobacco and most (especially USA brands) have 0.05% nicotine with 0% tar. All the best :)
I tried the 9mm filter pipes. They're OK, but I couldn't smoke one all the time. I've never tried a Hookah, but I've seen one before. It looks kinda scary to me LOL!
MIKE... let me start off by saying I am so happy to see you sitting there and enjoying a pipe I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am to see you doing that👍😁... it sounds to me like our prayers have been answered.... and Believe Me Brother I felt so terrible about this I was praying so hard for you I guess there's always a way if there's a will there's a way... it sounds like you might have to make some minor adjustments and just cut down a little bit on smoking and there you go👍👍 it beats the hell out of the alternatives I'm just so thankful that through our hope and our prayers there was another way around it.. I can't even tell you how glad I am for you.... still praying for your health as you know ......but I am also very thankful for all that information you just shared with us a lot of that I was not aware of but that's what I meant when I said you're always the kind of guy who's there for the community sharing information helping people but brother let me sum it up by saying amen praise God I'm so happy that you will have a direction to go in I'm sure you can find out all the information you need all the great people in this community I'm sure somebody can help you God bless you my friend take care welcome back 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks...I feel a little relief from the news,.but the doctor still said I should try to give it up. We agreed that I would smoke very little and because I enjoy it so much he felt it would reduce stress and that actually helps my heart.
Mike absolutely I agree with that certainly going easy and having just a little bit the way that you're planning on doing it at least you'll be able to have something and still enjoy it before you know it it'll become second nature to you I'm just thankful you will have something instead of nothing and that's great news take good care of yourself brother I'll be watching👍👍👍👍👍
Smokin' Briar Mike that would be great I just don't know how to do it I'm one of those technologically challenged people if you can tell me how to do it I'd be happy to brother but great to hear from you my friend
That's great news Mike! Keep us posted on your nicotine research. I'd be interested in what you find. Had a nic overload on an empty stomach while working in the Texas heat this weekend - so I'm looking for info in that area as well. Was smoking Elizabethan Mixture at the time.
Getting sick from nicotine is the worst feeling...I hate it! So far, it looks like the orientals and latakia blends are pretty low. I'm reading some information that was sent to me so I'll be learning more soon. Be well...
Hi Smokin' Briar, My research and personal experience with nicotine levels in the tobacco I enjoy is that G.L. Pease and Cornell and Diehl Burley based blends are very high in nicotine, Dunhill Mixtures are a mid level nicotine and our friends at McClellands in Kansas City are very low, probably because they use mainly combinations of oriental an Vifginia leaves and very little Burley or Kentucky. By the way from what I have heard from my vaping friends is that most of those mixtures actually have a fair amount of nicotine in the juice so be aware of that. Besides which, lets face it smoking a beautiful briar like you've got there is so much classier than sucking on a electronic piccolo. Regards, Doug Owen.
Let's put my two cents in. In order to avoid nicotine sickness new pipe smokers should not use strong tobacco, aromatic pipe tobacco is usually recommended. So it stands to reason that aromatics are less strong. So newbie tobacco is an idea worth exploring. Also consider the peace that a bowl gives you as an antistress medication. Tobacco is like alcohol, it is both a stimulant and a calming drug and nobody really knows how they work. I live in Caracas and I REALLY know about the use of tobacco as an alternative medicine. Best wishes, and good luck. Peter
Thanks for the informative video. I'm quite new to pipe smoking, "@ 2 months or so" and I live a pretty healthy lifestyle but started up to help myself relax a little. I figure, at 40 years old, what little I smoke, @ 2-4 bowls a week, is better than a constant state of stress. I'm always looking up info on pipe smoking and health effects. Good to know about the nicotine thing. Fortunately I'm a huge fan of Latakia.I loooove that thick creamy smoke. (Thinking about it just made me start salivating).By the way, I'm super envious of the OMS Dublin I saw in one of your other videos. For my taste, that's one of the most beautiful pipes I've laid eyes on. Some day I will have one like it to pet and to stroke and to call my very own...
Welcome to the world of Pipes and tobaccos! Relaxing with a good pipe is a great way to relieve stress. 2 - 4 bowls a week won't have much of an effect on your health. Latakia is very low in nicotine...which is good because like you said, it's just awesome. The OMS series of pipes are fine quality for the money. I highly recommend one. Thanks for watching!
What makes smoking bad for the heart is mainly carbon monoxide. CO deprives the heart of oxygen, causes inflamation and also makes blood plates sticky. If you don't inhale, as serious pipe and cigar smokers don't do, you will absorb very little carbon monoxide from smoking. That is the big difference between pipe and cigarette smoking that most doctors don't understand. They have been investigating smokeless tobacco users in Sweden, and smokeless tobacco can give quite high nicotine concentrations in the blood, depending on how much is used, and, depending on which source to trust, the result was either that smokeless tobacco resulted on fewer heart attacs than cigarette smoking did or that users of smokeless tobacco had no more heart problems than non-users of nicotine at all. Richard Overton smoked several cigars a day and certainly had a considerable intake of nicotine. But he was very cautious that he did not inhale the smoke. And when he finally died, it was not from a heart condition. At the time of his death in December 2018, he was the oldest male citizen of the USA.
Hi there, new subscriber here, my Dad an ex Lorry Driver, was diagnosed with your condition a few years ago now, he went through a very low period, whether it was the effects of the medication or the shock of the news we will never know, but what I would say is he is a different man now, he has more energy and a more positive outlook than he has had for a long time. This took a while to achieve but he got there in the end as will you.
Hello Sir, Nicotine is water soluble Simple seeping in distilled water removes it A lesson I learned from the preparation of hookah tobacco I am not sure how aromatics would fair Good luck, Sir, fair wind
sorry to disturb Sir, the Guardian e-Pipe range, made by Smok, is an interesting vaping alternative to pipe smoking, whilst it still retains many of the features, tactile and functional, of our beloved briar I hope that in the time since you are keeping well :-) tom
Carcinogens are in all tobaccos. It's a byproduct of the tobacco on fire. Just like how they say BBQing isn't good for the same reason. Remember that second hand smoking can be an issue as well. Us pipe smokers don't have to worry about the tobacco touching the inside of our mouths but all the smoke does. So moderation I believe is key and like you said having check ups.
In reply to TheOmega4ever Research results on different forms of smoking. Get Ready.....OK, I did research this years ago. Source is the 1972 Surgeon General's Report. You will see ins. commercials saying "and you don't smoke cigarettes"... Here is the reason. The report said cigarettes are as bad as we know them today. People draw them hard (fine cut tobacco) which makes them burn very hot and increases the NASTY tar produced and into the lungs, BAD. PIPES, 1972 Surgeon General"s on pipes NON-INHALING ( are you sitting down?) 1 to 4 pipe loads per day showed an INCREASE in lifespan vs. a NON-smoker. The peak increase of lifespans at 4 pipe loads was FOUR years longer life. Lifespans dropped as the number of loads increased to 10 per day at which lifespans dropped to be EVEN with a NON-smokers life span. It was a shock. After more study, it is attributed to 1. The tars produced by the cooler smoke and higher quality tobacco is much lower or in some blends barely seen even on the pipe cleaner in other blends. 2. Nicotine by itself is not a carcinogen and actually relieves stress and that increases good hormones. 3. The relaxation of doing the art of pipe smoking also relieves stress changing the hormones balance in the body much like a hobby one loves or a pet or watching the activity in an aquarium. The 1972 report showed that occurrences of cancer of the body or the lips was nil. CIGARS, The report show similar results for NON-INHALING cigar smokers and was under continued study tracking personal medical histories of patients in all categories. The pipe and cigar smokers tracked never had smoked cigarettes. I was told the 1976 Surgeon General's Report had more followups confirming the 1972 report. I found the 1972 Surgeon General's Report book in the public library. It was about 3 inches thick on a myriad of subjects. Cool puffing and long ashes! Cheers.
Just anecdotally; I have noticed that I experience more chest pain after a cigar and in retrospect my pains have increased since taking up a cigar. Going to have to shift back to predominately pipes. The newest AARP magazine listed nicotine as a significant cause of heart problems due to the artery narrowing effect. I saw this video when you put it out and it just popped up on autoplay. I am going in in two weeks for bypass surgery, so very timely, sir. Hope you are doing well. God bless
Great video, good that you got the green light on pipe smoking. True what they say "everything in moderation". Only been a pipe smoker for sixteen months and lucky if I get to have one pipe a day with work and family. That down time really helps when the day has been stressful. All the very best, to you.
Thank you for your great info brother . I hope your well and your info is so great. The nicotine from cigarettes have so much chemicals that's what get you hooked and it destroys your lungs. Nautural tobbaco is pure no chemicals and safe in moderation . I pray for you my brother and never give up PREY God will bless you brother . your the Bless and I will Pray for you and your Health Prayer helps . Your a gentleman and I truly wish you all the best . Your a good man and deserve the best cheers to you always and keep on piping my friend
I started reading comments to see if anyone had found a spec chart... The comments i've read are delightful- It's like these people are your family. God bless you.
I enjoyed your video and just wanted to wish you good health. I'm sure you'll be okay, especially if you follow the good advice of your doctors. Best regards from Cape Cod, Massachusetts!
I know this is a year old so maybe you've spoken about this since, but filters also reduce nicotine in the smoke, especially the ones with the full system of charcoal and barriers. If you blended strong tobaccos with lighter ones, and filtered the smoke, seems to me it would be alright. What do you think? Trying to understand the details about restricting of blood vessels, because that's what caffeine does and that's a good thing, it sharpens the mind. Good vid though. I'm wondering if you've had blood tests that showed your blood to be "stickier" than normal. Thanks.
So many ideas on heart disease out there...most doctors don't agree on the real reasons but people who suspect big pharma suggest its a lack of vitamin K in the diet not nicotine, cholesterol or saturated fat (all of which the past generations consumed in abundance and are far healthier than we are without meds)...vitamin k sends the calcium in our diet to where its needed, a lack of causes it to clog around the heart. A mixture of high carbohydrate diets (causing arthritis and heart issues) plus lack of vitamin k is the main culprit some suggest and not fats etc...but all the money is made in cereals and medicine so it pays to not inform. Look at the pipe smokers of the past; high fat diets yet relatively long lives. Google vitamin k and carb heart attack info, youtube even. You'll find that vitamin k supplements are combined with vitamin D as a sup because of vitamin D's effect on calcium; these supplements weren't available years ago generally; new studies have brought in this type of product. so many opinions on heart health out there...even cardiovascular exercise is not actually the best thing for heart health; lifting weights once per week is very good for the heart preferably the HIT type....so much bad info in the media etc...as a pipe smoker myself: lifting weights once a week is plenty, perefer to sit and relax...and jogging 2 miles is completely out of the question, ive never seen a happy jogger. Also countries who have the least heart disease like Italy and Greece and the mediteranean countries smoke cigarettes like troupers almost twice as many cig smokers per capita in comparison to Canada and the US! So what does that tell you? Diet, the oil and fish and veg that contains the vitamins and macro nutrients etc...I'm not saying nic isn't unhealthy but I am questioning some of the advice we read and consume. Just eat the garlic, olive oil type food, do some weights and enjoy your pipe for a long happy life.
Exactly. We're still largely living the "fat unhealthy" myth fabricated by carbohydrate food companies straight up buying studies. I love my fatty, low-sugar diet!
2 years ago I had bronchitis real bad. I didn't smoke anything for over a month. But here's the good part.....I didn't have any withdrawal from it like you would have from cigarettes. That's why pipes and cigars are so much better!
In general terms here's how I understand it. Leaf varietal matters and so does curing. There are many factors in play with the PH of the tobacco (Base vs Acid) having the most impact on how readily nicotine is absorbed by the consumer. Burley for example produces alkaline smoke. Thus more absorbable/free base nicotine. Interestingly this is the principle of crack. Baking soda is added to the coke, not because it's soda is white, but because it's alkaline. Therefore more free base. When Richard prior caught himself on fire smoking crack we still called it "free base". Anyway for pipe smokers here's what matters in practical terms. Burely: High VA: Low-mid Oriental: Low (due mainly to leaf size I believe) Then curing comes into play. Fire curing (as opposed to air,sun or flue) increases the nicotine levels in the leaf. So fire cured burley properly referred to as Kentucky tobacco has a higher level of available nicotine than air cured burley. Latakia is a fire cured oriental so it should have higher nicotine levels than air or sun cured orientals but still nothing approaching Kentucky. Only a guess but I suspect latakia is similar to VA in available nicotine. Fermentation has me a bit stumped. Perique which is very similar to burley on the stalk is fermented under pressure and the result is extremely high, likely the highest, nicotine levels. Yet cavendish, typically a burley and sometimes a VA, is treated in a very similar manner just for a shorter time. Yet I don't' think of cavendish as being "strong" at all. So the short story is that among the commonly used varietals in pipe tobacco. Fire cured burley (kentucky) and perique will kick the hardest. Then VA and maybe latakia, with other orientals being the "weakest". Anyone have more or different information? your welcome Duck out
A good friend of mine lost his grandfather to cancer. He smoked a pipe every day of his life for decades and developed lip cancer, meaning he needed part of his lip taken away. He died after the cancer came back. I still smoke a pipe but I don't smoke when I have mouth ulcers and I don't smoke every day
Hey Mike. I would think latakia/balkan/oriental blends would be on the lower end of the nicotine scale. I am interested in what JM has to say. Let us know. All the best, my friend. Keep us posted! ~ Brian
You're about to go on a journey my friend that will give you much pleasure for years to come! Being new at pipe smoking.....what a wonderful thing! Please feel free to ask me anything you need to know. I'm glad to be of any help I can. Enjoy it!!
@@SmokinBriar or i get tongue bite hehe. I allready watched a ton of videos about packing and smoking a pipe. So thanks for your answer. What are your thoughts on breaking in a pipe? Some say you have to and some say just somke it. And if so what techniques would you recommend? Anyway, greetings from Switzerland.
Allow my two cents opinion. In my country (Greece) collecting tobacco takes place five times from the plants. The first, is the lowest, the bigger leaves, the dirtyest due to soil and the less quantity in nicotine. The highest, is the best leaves, the stronger in nicotine and the expensivier. I choose, second to third collection, always. Furthermore, one more think that I seldomly do, is the washing. of the tobacco. The result is something that just vague, reminds tobacco. Extremely light. After, I aromatize the tobacco. And, I only inhale very little. Hope that helps. May on you all pass like the water. Cheers
It's the thought of lip or mouth cancer that scares the shit out of me. That said I average only one bowl a week these days having reduced down from one a day. And yeah, that means it tastes much better and one pipe is now a much bigger treat compared to the daily habit and I no longer fret over the health issues. Thankfully here in the UK there're retailers who sell the tinned tobaccos in ten gram samples which is all I need these days.
I have noticed that the less I smoke, the more I enjoy it when I do. Like you said, it tastes much better and the health issues are nearly nothing. I've been smoking my pipe maybe once a day or every other day now.
Smoke one bowl a day, different strong blends but i use most of time 9mm filters, think they hold some nicotin back. Got only 3 Castello pipes without filter they i use once in week.
Do you inhale it? Because if you don’t then it’s not going in you well maybe a small amount like as if you were wearing a patch or something that might be a better analogy but you know what I mean.
The general rule of thumb has always been the higher the sugar content the lower the nicotine content and vise versa. Burleys are typically lower sugar and higher nicotine, while virginas are typically higher sugar and lower nicotine. Please make a video and share what JM Boswell offers when he returns your call. I respect him highly and would be very interested in what he has to say. Blessings!
I also just learned that Oriental tobacco is very low in nicotine and that latakia is made from Orientals. Now I'm getting some place! I love Boswell's blends, so I hope J M will at least point me to the best blends for me.
It is the TARS in hot burning cigarettes going right into the blood through the lungs. Don't chew tobacco. Enzymes in the saliva renders things from tobacco. I refer you to the 1972 and 1976 Surgeon General's Report below. I found the 1972 report in the library. Diet and activity is much more important. Stress is a killer.
I like Lane 1Q. It kind of reminds me of Captain Black Original. Does anybody else detect the similarity? All of the Captain Blacks are listed as mild to medium.
Good video. Thanks for the info. I get the whole nicotine thing; too much being bad for you, but how much nic do we actually get thru our mouths just puffing on a pipe? I think pipe smokers and cigar smokers who do not inhale get a lot less nicotine than cigarette smokers. Just my 2 cents. Take care!
Actually, we don't get anywhere near the amount that cigarette smokers get but we still get enough. For example, I don't know if it's happened to you but there are a lot of us who have smoked blends high in nicotine and don't inhale but still get a good kick from it, or in the worst case get a little sick from it so It does absorb though out mouths. Thanks for the comment!!
Smoking a 9mm filter pipe would be a good idea for you. The activated charcoal in these filters remove most of the bad stuff in the tobacco and lowers the nicotine level. I only smoke filtered pipes and I'm completely happy with them. Smoking an unfiltered pipe does nothing for me these days. Hope this is helpful to you. Good luck.
I've been trying to smoke a 9mm filter pipe right now that was gifted to me. The only problem I'm having is the draw is horrible. There isn't any air flow. I made sure I have the filter facing the right direction but still it's a very hard draw. I'm using "MF" filters from Germany that were sent with the pipe.
Hi there, I have had the same sort of problems to start with but I have solved the problem now. The absolute best 9mm filter is Dr Perl Junior filters. They draw real easy, they smoke dry and they do not give off any strange tastes. I fully recommend them. Give a try there is nothing to lose. Good luck and stay healthy.
Hi! Great channel. I really don't know about Low nicotine Tobaccos, but i can tell you to stay away from Royal Yacht. That stuff is the only one that gives me nicotine Buzz. I hope You're doing well!
Here's a link to the very topic you're talking about: pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/tobacco-basics-nicotine-amp-sugar-content-curing-methodsHappy smoking!
I smoke frog mortons very low nic level and great flavor. If you are that concerned with your heart I would suggest a solid daily workout plan and a clean diet. As far as vaping, a law goes in affect on August 8th that will basically kill vaping . 90% of all the vaping juice and products will be gone.
Here you go! Highest nicotine, lowest sugars by TOBACCO type - - Burly - Kentucky - Green River Kentucky - Perique Highest sugar, lowest nicotine by TOBACCO type - - Virginia - Maryland - Turkish / Oriental
