1) 1.5 times design pressure 2) 90 % of the SMYS (Yield strength) 3) Test pressure calculated by designer, for each component for the pipeline or piping system and adopt the minimum test pressure and that will be the limitation. 4) Test pressure limited by the service- FOr example, Utility lines- like water some times only needs service test or RTR utility lines for utility water needs 200 PSi only even it can hold much more.
