Piper Meridian (4K), Spectacular Saint-Tropez RWY 06 Approach and Landing 

After crossing the Alps from Augsburg (EDMA) we could choose the landing direction. The "easy" way via RWY 24 with a 11 kts tailwind or taking the steep approach over the hills for RWY 06 at Saint-Tropez airport La Môle (LFTZ). The decission is clear: Accepting the challenge, go for the 06 !

By the way: the "N149C" registered Meridian (08:42) at the most eastern edge of the parked aircraft will CRASH two days later here in La Môle (Monday, June 29). Luckily no one of the two pilots was injured as the pilot aborted his takeoff run, overshot the runway and hit the fence on the eastern edge of the airfield.
