I once had Kiss Radio, when it was a pirate station, broadcast with the aeriel pushed out my bedroom window. They were playing and broadcasting a party from the flat where I lived.

It had a built in inverter, you ignoramus. Most field based valve TXs were powered using the inverter stages taken from popular PYE PMR gear. The modulator sections were also used.
