My very flawed attempt at Hans Zimmer's Pirates (& Klaus Badelt, & Ramin Djwadi among others) score; Primarily "Jack Sparrow", "Up is Down" & "He's a Pirate" with brief segues of Medallion Calls and Skull & Crossbones between those 3. I had previously attempted "Skull & Crossbones" in its entirety 9 years ago; I like that track a lot, so I'll probably re-attempt it at some point.
1 man orchestra piano, Electone style, utilizing Yamaha's own Movie Soundtrack accompaniment style at the start, then my own POTC and Up is Down custom styles.
I would've put in more of "Jack Sparrow", but
1) the original track is already 6min long, enough for a medley by itself
2) I couldn't figure out the fast rising sequence in D, so I had to improvise an arrangement
Wish I hadn't brain farted the 3rd bar of the 4 (8 bar in the original version) the crescendo of "Jack Sparrow" during the 'bass is playing the melody' part, playing Bb instead of Ab. Oh well, I'm in the middle of translating this registration to CVP809, 709 and PSRs series and hopefully I'll have had enough practice by then.
