If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 10 times. No one on earth hits the ball as hard as Noel. 450 feet. 111.4 exit velocity. The Homerun was ONLY 72 feet off the ground. And he’s batting nearly .270.
Can’t wait for them to dump him once he has a rough month of May next year. Another right handed power bat that they refuse to develop and therefore ruin
Noel has grown man power it's great to see the Guardians need that pop in the lineup. However I would start with Aaron Judge in his own category in just about everything. After him Noel is definitely up there among the top brute strength dudes.
I was on the first base line and from the looks of it, it was probably just Cramps. Super humid and hot tonight. I think they took him out more as a precaution then much else
@@jamestaylor2979 Dude I was sitting on the first baseline (134 Section F) and he's a left handed hitter. Not exactly easy to see what happened. It looked like he was grabbing his calf not his foot. Chill my guy
@@ReflectivityyVogt confirmed it’s an ankle bruise from him twisting it. Said he wants to play tomorrow (today technically) so it doesn’t seem too serious.
If Rocchio could have gotten the ball down and the player out it would have been called a great play. Other infielders have been behind the back throws that were successful. That's the way it goes in baseball. Sometimes those plays look great and sometimes not!
@@Iknowthelaw13 Maybe so with Rocchio only hitting .204 this season, but the problem is finding someone better to replace him. Every other team is also trying to find better players.
Noel looks like a right handed David Ortiz so far. Sort of a Manny Papi mix, if he has that career and stays in CLE he will get a statue outside the ballpark. This team is so much fun to watch!!!
Wild one tonight. Glad to see the offense do well with every starter collecting a hit. Unfortunate that Lively had a terrible inning after an otherwise solid start, but the bullpen did well to hold on, with Clase becoming the new franchise save leader. All in all a pretty good night.
There is a new trend starting to work for the Guardians it's the bandwagoners trend. The lead gets cut to 1 game and the birds start chirping that the season is done and the young guys are fatigued and they will finish in 3rd place and it was fun while it lasted etc. Then right after that Cleveland bounces back so hopefully the nay sayers keep at it.
Naylor should be fine, an ankle bruise isn't to bad considering how he looked. Maybe give him the rest of the series off though. Glad he avoided a serious injury. Congrats to Clase, Go Guards.
I just saw the highlights, but as long as the umpire is consistent with both teams and throughout the game I don't mind pitches like that being called strikes
Cleveland SP Ben Lively, the only starter to have pitched consistently good for the 3 or 4 weeks, did not pitch good enough and giving up 5 runs in 1 inning. Sigh. 😔 Ouch!!! Guards 1B Josh Naylor's ankle injury, is probably going to be day to day and need time to rest. The team will surely miss his big bat for a couple days at least. ☹🤕 Felicidades! to Guards Closer, Emmanuel Clase on becoming Indians/Guardians All-time Saves Leader. Bien Hecho! 😃👏👏👏💥
Crazy how teams are never out of a playoff race until the are. Astros are catching fire but helping cleveland at the same time. Astros may pass the guards record wise for the second bye come playoff time.
@@dirtbagseth iknow. But kwon not hitting like he did put us with one reliable hitter in jose and josh os finally hitting again which is good but those other teams to include San Diego have been hammering the ball.. and our starters can barley give us 5 innings of work. Thats hard to manage come playoff time
calm down bud its easily the dodgers bruh they team stack its betts ohtani smith freeman teoscar chris taylor kike hernandez then they got glassnow yamamoto doherty and kershaw and they have outman
The Umpire tonight was dog sht. Half of Pittsburgh strikes where below the knees. Watching it live at the field dude every fan in that stadium regardless of team was PISSED.
